I'm guessing I'm probably the only one here with degrees from both schools, undergrad at Toledo, graduate school at UM.

I will be at the game. I'm hoping for a clean game, I plan on rooting for Toledo, obviously as the underdog. I think Toledo is a good team this year but I don't see this game as being close. That being said, I just want to have a good time, get together with some old buddies.

In terms of stadium ambiance and overall experience ... I like the Glass Bowl better than Hard Rock, or whatever it's called now.

The title of this thread is "Toledo scares me..." So YES, you came on here looking to start a war. By you saying Toledo scare me, you were implying you were a Canes fan that was acting like a lil bih. But now that we know you are a Toledo fan starting a thread w/ that title, absolutely you were looking for trouble and you found it. And for the record, you or your program will NEVER be a threat to anyone. Keep your optimism for the BYU's, Wyoming's, and Idaho's of the world.

Toledo opens with Elon, @Nevada, and Tulsa. We should be 3-0, or 2-1 at worst.
Toledo has one of the nations leading returning passers. Woodside threw for 4,100+ yards, 45 TD's to 9 INT's and better than 69% completion %.

In 2015 Toledo was in the top 25 for 6 weeks, defeated #18 Arkansas on the road, and defeated #23 Temple in the Boca Raton Bowl.
In 2016 the Rockets had a soft schedule, put 53 on BYU one of the nations leading defenses, but gave up 55 in that game. The Rockets other losses came to 8-5 Ohio, 13-1 WMU, and 10-3 App State.

Almost every year Toledo pulls a big upset in the beginning of the year on the road. Throw in this is probably their best QB ever with a solid supporting cast and we should be worried.

This is just dumb. Please tell me more about all these BIG upsets Toledo has every year. And then please tell me even if they had all these big upsets every year which they f***ing don't, how the f*** does that have any significant impact on their game vs UM this year?! This f***ing logic that because they've had a "BIG" upset in the past that it suddenly has some bearing on this year's game is complete garbage.

Your big upset will happen on the road,..Sept. 2nd, in Reno Neveda,...against the wolf pack!
But if you wanna believe your trip to south fl will be an upset, guess that depends on the difference tween what you think will happen down here, as opposed to reality.

[MENTION=9116]Rellyrell[/MENTION] - I went to the University of Idaho, live in Idaho and as much as it pains me to hear them mentioned in that capacity - Can't say I disagree with you. I Keep telling myself that we're just rebuilding - for the better part of 2 decades. Ha. None-the-less, I've been a canes fan for as long as I can remember and your post is spot on.

I haven't made a prediction about the game once. I also have never insinuated I think we will win??? Implying I was a Canes fan by Original Poster "UofToledofans!" Gosh you found me out! A troll would change their name to something about your school and give terrible evidence of an upcoming slaughter.

I love the use of "never" though. Never was probably stated by a Michigan State fan to the 1 and 11 Western Michigan in 2013. That team found a place ranked 15th in the Cotton Bowl against a 10 win Wisconsin team last season. Crazier things have happened than a MAC school going undefeated and finding themselves pegged against the big boys come January.

I never once have had a team so agressively care and hate a G5er coming into their stadium. It's frickin hilarious! A team which not 2 seasons ago lost to Cincinnati, who lost to the BYU's and USF's of the world.

Miami will be good. You're favored in 11 of 12 games.
