CIS hyped him up for no reason besides the fact that he coached Mario Williams and Lawson. He was a washed up coach heading in a downward trajectory from FSU to Akron. Still all I heard about him from CIS experts is that guy was a great coach and he coach Mario, Margo, and Lawson to the NFL. 3 Guys in his 50 year career and you dudes were on his ****.

Me and @Paranos warned you over and over but just like the Purdue coach that Belichick fired after one season, CIS had to hype that guy out. He should be coaching at Mount Union State in couple seasons but he is probably going to still be at Miami.

It’s scheme more than anything, when you render garvin useless by not having him rush the passer and just drop in coverage that’s on the dc. Regardless still been disappointed in garvins play. Looks like a non factor even when rushing the passer. My concern about him not having a sack since Boston college game last year is very real

Greg Rousseau and Trevon hill need to play a whole lot more than they are right now

We lost 2 starting DTs the year before but last years DL coach had them reloaded and ready.

Stroud and Baker are bad. I mostly put it on Baker though. He’s the one calling for Garvin to drop into coverage.
 
Stroud was supposed to be an analyst for us. And then Simpson dipped. No way that guy was planned to be an actual coach

2 years ago we had McIntosh and Norton, last year we had Willis, there’s not an impact player at DT this season.

Hill is / was god awful against the run , I mean bad. He refuses to set the edge , which allowed cut backs.

This is what concerns me. We are playing a different defense this year. Point blank, Baker gets too ****i ng cute with his calls. Our guys need to play downhill and get after people and have guys in the back that can prevent the long plays when we can’t get to the ball early.

This guy is overthinking himself. We have savages up front. Let them savage.

Just in case you didn't know the Lil Havana reference is racist. I've seen a couple other posters make a similar reference. I'm all for critiquing Manny but try not to be racist while doing so.

It would be like an fsu fan saying Taggert should be coaching at Famu or a community college in Harlem.

Please do better! You can disagree but now you can't claim ignorance as your defense.

And no I'm not Latino nor am I a snow flake liberal that throws around the r word all the time.

My God. Not everybody who thinks Manny and staff sucks is screaming to bring back Butch Davis or Jimmy Johnson.
 
I agree Stroud is trash from what I see.... Ford and Bethel are slugs off the line but Bethel was more disruptive last season. DTs aren’t Gerald Willis but they’re not even Ogdenibo level And I don’t know wtf Garvin is doing in games, has he made a play yet this season??
