Curious if manny is fired and rhett leaves and takes most of the offensive staff b4 the bowl, who coaches the bowl game lol...Trob? Field?

You're right, black Sunday. Golden was fired in season. That said, I don't think you fire the coach without him meeting with the new AD. I don't think that has ever happened.

would probably be Jess but honestly it could be any of them. it will certainly be interesting being down a head coach and at least 3 assistant coaches if Likens and Justice do follow Rhett to SMU.

Forgot about him. Def should be Jess...but ya who is calling the offensive plays lol.
 
Timing still seems to be lining up. Rumors we will hear an AD name become official early this week. Manny's buyout drops midweek. Zo has been "in the building" assessing things past few weeks. Seems to me things are starting to come together.
 
Today is not December. That is when reports of drop in buyout are occurring. There is no AD. The coaching candidates are busy getting ready for bowl games.

This is the time to the booster need to work their magic. You go shoot your shot for the guy you want amd you have 72+ hours to do it. If they can’t make that happen then I’m willing to bet they stick with Manny

I do get the whole AD thing and the buyout dropping but I’m not sure a move will be made if they can’t get “their guy”
 
I think there are about 2 million reasons to wait until Wednesday.
I also think that gives us time to hire an AD.
Here’s my fearless prediction.
AD announced today or tomorrow.
New AD takes a day or two to “assess the program” then fires Manny Wednesday. Saving the $2 mil.
Mario announced next Sunday. We take our $2 mil savings to help pay towards his buyout now rather than wait.
But this only makes sense logically and there’s almost nothing they do that makes sense.

Diaz has to hire a new OC and a new DC. There is literally not a single coherent argument that can be made to retaining Manny Diaz as the HC of the Miami Hurricanes Football Team.

Have you heard that Sonny Dykes accepted the TCU job weeks ago and has been recruiting his staff to go with him? Also he's flipped a few SMU recruits too TCU too.

There is a list of candidates that's been mentioned. It's not like you stop at #1.

Ain’t no kids coming here with him here unless it’s their best offer and if that’s the case new coach will more than likely pull they offer once he gets in. The ones already committed obviously are more committed to the school than him.
