I will trust the staff but **** I wish they would just offer some guys already (Cronkite, Brewton, Calvin Ridley)

I hope so too because each 3 are beasts but at the same time I don't worry about it

Here we go again offering late smh Brewton is key, the staff should be thinking of j.johnson more as a nickel/s used similar how fsu uses lamarcus joyner. While JJ is at nickel McFadden and Brewton would be a killer tandem.
That is where I see him playing in college

You would think that how non existent our safety depth is that this staff would be tossing out offers left and right for that position.

Miami needs 4 safeties this class alone. Where are they?

Offering kids as a junior isn't a must so stop whining, now if they haven't offered this time next year then you can blame them

You are right offering a kid as a junior isn't a must but in some cases there are schools that offer earlier and build that relationship which is important and then people want to get mad at a kid who is begging for a UM offer and the. Finally gets it after time has gone by and the kid has a strong relationship elsewhere. Sometimes it's about timing.

Must a school offer to build a relationship?

No but I think some kids want to know where they stand with a school as to whether they are a primary or secondary target. The only offer that truly matters is the one they receive after August 1 of their senior year.

Seriously kinda like how a couple years ago they were offering everyone and anyone at corner...if a local kid is pretty good, we need him at safety

How has Gunter looked at S, maybe he can move there and we go with Burns, Crawford and Howard at CB.

If anything I'd move Artie to safety

yep.... Ladarius Gunter is 1 of our best cornerbacks PERIOD, and he'd only have 1 year at safety if that was the case next year. That does nothing.

Artie Burns is the 4th best corner on the team and the only 1 besides Gunter that can play safety. He should be a safety and then Miami will have depth and talent w/ Busn, Jenkins, Burns, and Carter in the 2 deep.

I wouldn't move Burns as he probably has the highest ceiling of anyone at CB. Maybe there is a JUCO out there, or Al can hit up the waiver wire again.
