Title Game crowd

Only problem I foresee is Canes "fans" using this as an opportunity to make a profit by flipping their tickets.

ShÏt makes my stomach turn just thinking about it.
I try not to judge, even though it sucks. Four good seats can land someone 20-25k. Big $$ for an average family. They could tailgate & watch game from the parking lot.

I get it.

We’ve played in these split fan games at Hard Rock before (FSU, UF mainly) can’t imagine their fans being there being a huge factor, assuming that the split is within the 40-60 range and not completely one sided to Indiana (which I doubt)

Who did this?

This is fine, but there were ways to transfer tickets to Miami fans only

I remember attended our last NC game in Tempe. I had tickets in a Miami section, but outside of me and my dad there may have been 10 Canes fan tops. Canes fans selling their tickets to OSU fans to make money.

I know this is different since it's at home, but I see plenty of tickets for sale on our side and quite a few of those will be purchased by IU fans.

Why are people assuming it’s going to be 60-40 Indiana?

Because for some reason, people still seem to listen to what the media is telling them. Some people will never learn!

Will there be a lot of Indiana fans there on Monday night? Yes, but they will most definitely be outnumbered in the parking lot and in the stands as well!

Let’s not forget that THE FREAKS COME OUT AT NIGHT for BIG Miami games!! It’s going to be electric!!! I’m going to be sitting/standing in section 306 with a pocket full of cough drops to help soothe my throat because I’m leaving it all in that stadium on Monday night!!!

Let’s Go Canes!!!

Its fake buddy. If other states calculated their "alumni" the same way IU would be at least 10th in the rankings.

Cal State system has 500k
Cal University system has 300k
SUNY has 375k
Texas A&M has 160k
Uni of Texas has 250k
Penn St has 150k
Wisconsin has 170k
N Carolina has 240k

And some have multiple football programs

I'd always assumed all of Dade, Broward and Palm Beach was clear-cut Canes territory.

Had no idea until I joined CIS a few years back and posters set the record straight.

So basically Dade and South Broward is UM country and then an onslaught of UF/FSU fans as you go north is how it's been spelled out

You are ****ting on us. There are plenty of empty seats unless it's a big game AT EVERY OTHER SCHOOL TOO. Don't say that's "just how it is at Miami" because that's just how it is in college football, and has been for years.

I went to grad school at UF. I can't even begin to count the number of times that I've sat in a half-empty Swamp. Happens at all the SEC schools, despite what ESPN will tell you.

And yet look at all these schools that somehow are AVERAGING OVER 100% stadium capacity in their numbers

And to your point, those "attendance" numbers aren't tickets sold but rather tickets distributed as many are simply giveaways to faculty, staff, friends and family of players, high school prospects, people with connections to sponsors and so on and on.

Every school in the country releases that inflated number as does every professional franchise.

Thus UM is no different than anyone else in that regard

If selling tickets and putting butts in seats was a top priority for college football programs, we wouldn't see roughly 20 percent of the schedule filled with G5 and FCS programs which exists as near-guaranteed win for the home team in exchange for a high six or low seven figure check for the visitor
