Title Game crowd

Nothing FAKE about it. It is a very large university with two primary campus locations and 5 "regional" campuses .. that make up the Indiana University System. They are ALL IU students. Very large student body provides the foundation for what IS the largest living alumni base.

-IU Bloomington campus 48,626
-IU Indianapolis campus 20,677
-IU regional campuses (5) 17,858
IU Indy (which formed when IUPUI was split as between IU and Purdue) has its own sports teams and athletic administration:

Sharing glory? Or next Monday, sharing humiliation!!!

YOU MISREAD ... their ALUMNI BASE is over 800,000 the CURRENT ENROLLMENT ... student body .... is 89.247. Just google "who has the largest university living alumni base" and voila ... IU. Buddy.
Once again you are misrepresenting the numbers. That includes all of the campuses of the Indiana University school system.

You are comparing apples and oranges.

Texas A&M, Texas, and many other state systems would be at least 2x larger than Indiana if they calculated their alumni base the same way.

I keep seeing Indiana fans tell everyone that travel so well it’s going to be 4-1 Indiana fans in hard rock. I find that hard to believe but it’s a once in 3 generation thing for them so maybe they are willing to spend? What are the they saying locally?

23 years since being robbed of a natty and a chance for #6 at the Rock? Miami people will take out second mortgages to be at this game.

Only problem I foresee is Canes "fans" using this as an opportunity to make a profit by flipping their tickets.

ShÏt makes my stomach turn just thinking about it.

This is one of the biggest single events in the history of Miami sports & our people love a good party. We like to profile; so you have to balance greed with the need to be seen, occasional selfies with the crew, and recording the game live on your phone.

I saw a post from someone that said, "Miami can't fill their stadium for a regular season game, those people aren't going to pay $3,000 to go to this game".

Shows how absolutely little most people know about the culture of South Florida sports fans.
These are the same people that repost the same dumb picture of a half-empty stadium from when Golden was HC, thinking that it represents UM now. Miami averaged over 98% capacity this year.

I kinda think outside of this board, there will be a lot of locals that will buy tickets just to sell to highest bidder, regardless of team they support. Wouldn’t surprise me to see IU have at least a 50/50 split.

Who really gives a ****. Not like the fans have anything to do with the buzz saw they’re about to run into. Whether it’s 90-10 or 50-50 nothing can save them. We’re not losing this game.

Need ND 17 again
There’s literally no chance of that happening. They get 1/3 of the tickets by default though of course if they put any on the secondary, anyone could be buying them, but that goes for our allocation too

Not ****ting just being real. Plenty of empty seats as always unless it’s a big game. That’s just how it is in Miami.
You are ****ting on us. There are plenty of empty seats unless it's a big game AT EVERY OTHER SCHOOL TOO. Don't say that's "just how it is at Miami" because that's just how it is in college football, and has been for years.

I went to grad school at UF. I can't even begin to count the number of times that I've sat in a half-empty Swamp. Happens at all the SEC schools, despite what ESPN will tell you.

And yet look at all these schools that somehow are AVERAGING OVER 100% stadium capacity in their numbers.

Everybody reports tickets sold not butts and seats.

Go back and look at Ole Miss this past season Lane Kiffin complained about the fans. SEC doesn’t sell out every game either despite narrative in terms of field seats
I agree. I was clarifying bc some use that statistic to mean that those are actual butts in seats. The fact remains that unless it’s a big game there are plenty of seats available. It’s always been that way even when we were winning consistently.

It’ll be 50-50. It’s the national championship game in our stadium and with everything this program and us fans have been through over the last two decades, we’re gonna be out in force in this game!
