We all know that the sequel to The U comes out in December. Last time around it debuted right after the Heisman Ceremony. If it is released around that time as well, that means it would be right after our season, and possibly during the Head Coaching search.

Billy Corben could unknowingly really build momentum for Butch if it features a lot of what he did during his time here. That would be the loudest way to really smack the BOT in the face with Butch's résumé during his time here.

EDIT: The quicker they chose Butch, the quicker he could recruit, and all he would have to do is ask these kids "did you see The U? I can get you there".

On December 14, once again, Butch Davis is going to be a household name - especially when the players relate their stories and interactions with Butch Davis. They really loved Butch, even though he was harder than a Russian on them, and accepted nothing less than full bore effort.

But. Everyone will see that, and so will a lot of coaches that may be looking for a coach.

Procure him prior to the airing and it'll resonate throughout the bowl season and help amplify recruiting efforts. Breed a little life into off-season ticket sales and restore whatever hope this program can salvage.

Patterns suggest the University will do nothing and distance itself from the Documentary...While keeping Golden and crew.

Kaaya being a Freshman and face of the program is also a positive on timing. Get someone now that will want to turn the corner bc he will walk into a program with a stud QB.
 
Please lord let VT blow us out. It really is sad that it's come down to fans and media hoping Miami loses so we can finally move on from this inept coaching staff.
 
The only momentum Cohen is going to end up building is for that of the media to rehash all the Shapiro nonsense.... and for Cohen himself to spend the interim between The U Part 2 and The U Part 3 whining on any media outlet that'll have him about how the school slights him and how awesome Uncle Luke is.
