Time to redo the uniforms

New sheriff in town. Time to redo the unis; get rid of the current crap.

1. Get rid of the shoulder feathers. Replace with player number, or U. You hammer your opponent with your shoulders. Feathers don't lend themselves to that image.

2. Get rid of the leg diagonal stripes. Looking like a giant ah-di-dah logo, they do not convey power/solidity/speed.

3. Get rid of the MIAMI on the front of the jersey. Elite football teams don't need name tags. Their opponents already fear, and know who they are, by the colors.

4. Our colors are green orange, and white. That's it. Unis should be combos of those three colors. No solid green, or solid orange; no gray, black, or camo. The textured look of the solid colors is one element that does work.

5. Never **** with our white U helmet. All others look fake.

6. Give another shot to the player names in our typeface. The mistake was mixing upper and lower case. Redesign the typeface using just one case.

We have a ton of tradition! A tradition of woopping *** in style! Style of play though, not some gimmick uniform that sucks anyways...

I said our tradition isnt traditional.

We put nike on the CFB map. That was ground breaking. We were one of the first if not the first to get Modern unis around 00 or 99

Point is the OLD way of doing things is OVER. No Butch. No black cleats with white pants/socks (yuck). No cheap coaches. No Al Groh defense from 81. The OB aint comin back. No Shalala choking out the athletic program. No more running from the FACT football is the foundation of everything done at the U....

How about pants mid thigh length or better yet pants on the ground, no socks, no shirt with numbers tatoos, no helmet would be really intimidating, can't decide between black shoes or some day Day-Glo? We've had two new uniforms because Nike tried to win us back in 2014 in the final year of their contract after ignoring us for years. Then in 2015 Adidas came in with their own design.

We probably won't see a change for another decade.
