Mario coaches like he purchased a 70 inch state of the art, high deaf television and is trying to figure out how to connect to the rabbit ears on the roof. He wants all three networks plus the local PBS and independence channel.
 
Your comments are right on the nose. When you have a person who is subborn, dumb,and thinks his world is the best for everyone it's a situation that won't get rectified. Mario is a softy and NOT a disciplinarian and reminds me of Mike McDaniel. He allows players to make mental mistakes constantly without taking them out of the game. He is a fool and every time out he called or didn't call a TO it backfired on him. I truly hope we find a leader soon because he is not one.

so were screwed as fans? were always going to play in a phone booth and obviously run on every second down and set up the defense to give away a third down pass?
 
You know what else doesnt make any sense.

If you want to be physical, run a ground and pound to exhaust the defense by the fourth quarter and crush their will

Wouldnt it make sense to run more plays and thus run the ball at the defense more? 40 runs is more tiring than 20 runs, right?

So what the **** is up with the slow tempo. It seems to me, ground and pound and slow tempo contradict the purpose they are trying to achieve.

Run a ground and pound fast tempo, if the offensive identity you want is to be physical and make opponents will shatter by the fourth quarter.

This is actually pretty weak from Rhett. Mario obviously sucks but that was probably the most lopsided officiating ive ever seen and absolutely cost Miami the game. I'd be infuriated if i didn't know they were just going to lose another game or two anyway.....but this **** is weak.
 
Manny Diaz is a better coach than Cristobal. Equal talent in a game who wins. Manny Diaz at least can scheme a defense. The only thing this idiot can scheme up is running up the middle with his midget O line coach.

they want to play risk averse. thats part of why we dont do a ton of outside runs.

they want to limit mistakes and limit defensive series (aka limit opposing teams possessions) by playing this slow. mario hated the tempo and type of offense we had last year because it brought the defense back on the field quicker than hed like. the irony is that the defense looks tired as **** because the line plays too many snaps and is starting to get banged up (weve been really healthy this year all things considered).

the false starts werent on the refs. thats on us. we do that at home and away.
