Cook lacks the vision and cutting ability that Yearby has. There is a reason Yearby starts. Once Cook breaks free he has the speed to take it all the way. In college however you need speed cutting ability and vision . While he may develop that right now he is not as complete a RB as Yearby. Everyone is faster in college .
Thank you! I kinda hope Cook doesn't sign with UM cause you guys have built him up to a point I don't think he could handle. At this moment, Cook would be dangerous in college as a KR/PR only. You can't outrun everyone's angle in college. Everyone is a way better athlete at the NCAA level. Yearby starts for a reason and it seems like Yearby gets the ball when it matters. That has to show you guys SOMETHING! Move on already... We have some great prospects committed already. Cook may beat Yearby and Powell in a footrace but both Yearby and Powell have that certain focus you cant teach. You see it in their team's weekly game highlights. They love 'that moment' when their team needs them.
