Time for Tate...

Sick of these QB's that supposedly are winners wherweas both Jarren and N'Kosi have failed. Tate will be here for a few more years, won every game in his high school career and is used to winning. These talented losers we are starting just don't have the fire it takes to win every week. Jarren has a high completion percentage, can make all the short passes but loses. N'Kosi had his shot last year and has the deep ball but with this OL doesn't have time. Martell suits this offensive line better then both of them. Martell is a team player, as these shenanigans with picking a QB went on he agreed to move but the kid is a winner, has several years here and just might get us on the right track. To many "prima donnas" look great, great forn, great skills, that is until the bright lights come on and then there are those who WANT the pressure and I believe Tate might be that guy. What have we got to lose? Don't forget N'Kosi had his chance last year, Jarren threatened to leave, and yes...Tate is a portal guy but he deserves a shot now that our season is almost over. All we can hope for is 3 more wins and a bowl game. I am sick of losing and sick of players who fold under pressure. Historically when the game is on the line, Hurricanes perform their best. I've been involved with teams where practice players folded in games and lousy practice players lite up when the lights came on. Bernie was the most awkward QB we ever had but he loved pressure. Steve Walsh could not throw deep and was too short but won when he had to perform. Coaches never know which players will perform under pressure until they enter a real game. Has anyone seen Jarren or N'Kosi get in anyone's face? Or even talked to their team on the sidelines? I believe Tate Martell has the fire in his belly and could win for us. Like I said, what do we have to lose, find out before next year because we know what we have at QB now..garbage.
I bet you he can kick field goals and extra points. If not him. Jimmy Murphy would put it the the uprights. Those were chip shots. Worst coaching I've ever seen. I've been following this team since 71.......Wow! I'm shook. But I'm a ride or die dude.

Go Canes!

When you're looking at two QBs who can barely break the 200 yard mark and you're 3-4 why wouldn't you play the 4 star QB who just happens to have a skill set that somewhat nullifies your greatest weakness with the OL.

There's literally nothing to lose at this point and it's the one thing you haven't tried.

As I recall they said that the three were equally competitive but each had a different skill...Tate fits the bad OL skill set plus our best player played with him in high school where they always won. I'd bet Brevin would like that.

Offseason, start Williams. Several weeks ago, start Perry. Today, start Tate. Next month, put in the True Freshman. See the trend?

The QB isn’t the ******* problem, or at least, our biggest issue.

Honestly, the quarterbacks are the least of our problems. And Tate was given so many opportunities to get the starting job. He clearly isn’t good

So you are basing this on the decision of coaches who's ability to coach you distrust.

He should at least get 5 snaps on the wildcat. The wildcat runs have been pretty successful although I think Harris got stuffed on a run today

The wildcat is a broke *** gimmick, in particular when your OL can't block.

Dwayne Haskins was one of the best QBs in the nation with insane metrics and was a first round pick.
Joe Burrow is going to be a Heisman finalist with insane metrics and is projected to be a first round pick.

You're telling me...that Tate Martell...who was legitimately competing with and ahead of one of those two on a depth chart at one point...is a third stringer at...Miami? Have you seen Miami quarterbacks in the past 15 years?

lmfao. y'all kill me. Some of you dopes are actually convinced Tate is probably a jobber, too. Absolutely convinced.

I'd love to give the poon slayer a shot at quarterbacking this team, but our offensive coordinator is Dan Enos.

Tate Martell in a similar gadget role at Ohio State and red zone guy was an EIGHTY PERCENT PASSER with almost 10ypa and averaged almost 6ypc on the ground. At Miami, he's INCAPABLE OF PLAYING?

Man, get lost. Man, I hate this staff and I'm beginning to hate this school for playing me for a fool.
