As we know, the game this week will be like a 10:30 PM start time. I'm concerned.

There have been some studies that show that West time zone teams beat the spread convincingly against East Coast teams in night games - and this is West Coast night game to make things even worse:

West Coast ATS and West Coast Advantage, and for soccer too Soccer

Worse still, there seems to be a higher risk of injury in East Coast teams playing night games on the west coast..

We have the week off, after, sure. But while this isn't the most important game of the season, it could likely be the most significant. Poor job of whomever was responsible for scheduling.

The league and the tv networks schedule the games. I doubt when the west coast teams were added to the ACC that the teams were somehow told they csn't ever have a night game. In a couple years a bunch of these UM guys will be playing at night, traveling to London, playing on Thursdays and playing in the snow.
