We need to make sure we stay within the bounds of site rules. I want Al gone as much if not more than anyone. I have done plenty of shops and such; however, there is a real line with personal information (regardless if public or not) being posted on the site. Same with threats and making disparaging remarks against folks.

You all are better than this. Don't put this place at risk trying to look cool doing **** that is not allowed. Were better than this.

Self police the site, the fact that it had to come out by him on twitter is a disgrace, and makes us look like what the admin thinks we are.

Can't believe folks here would do this ****, this is home and family on this site and I feel like we just let ourselves down.

We don't want to lose this place, so stop ****ing up.

How the **** could you "lose this place" because a third party published public information in a post? I'll answer that question: you can't. I'm not saying that porsting that loser's address serves any purpose, but let's slow down with the hyperbole.

There were no threats.

There were some vague innuendo's. Hardly threats in the legal sense.

maybe Folden will catch wind of all this & **** hes pants lol

"Joe, then my home address was posted online, and that set us back. We dealt with that all offseason, and not to make excuses, Joe, but it definitely hurt us, and that starts with me. I look at everything, I'm gonna evaluate my home address and go from there. But my home address definitely grew up from this."

@gfre1 @CanesInSight If it was up long enough for someone to see the threats, then email them out to me and others, it was up for a while.

I tried to reason with him and tell him he wasn't making it any better by broadcasting it. Told him the mods were fixing it, and it isn't acceptable or within the site rules to do it. When the mods cleaned it up, I tweeted him back and told him. Asked him to bring it to our attention discreetly if we missed something and we would handle it.

Seriously, the site owners here don't need this ****. They do this for free, and this is why we can't have nice things. The last thing the site owners need it lawsuits and authority activity up our asses.

He has since not posted anymore, cause I think he saw we were reasonable on it. Don't pour salt on the wounds.

Posting personal info takes it a bit far but for ***** sake you can just Google his address

Posting someones address is not illegal. There was no legal action being considered nor could any take place. Reynolds tried to police the internet or some **** to try to make a competitor look bad for his own personal gain. In other words he is full of ****.

Reynolds looks petty, but posting Golden's address is straight-up pathetic.

Obviously, this site doesn't "permit" that and it was taken down as soon as it was seen by a Moderator. Reynolds' message is simply inaccurate and curiously inflammatory. It's expressly against the rules of the forum to post personal information.

Since Mr. Reynolds or whomever relayed him this info obviously visit the forum, he'd know that this is fast-paced and it's not practical to have every message approved before it's posted. That's not how message boards work.

Mr. Reynolds is welcome on here to discuss anything he'd like to address. We're not very hard to find. It's a free website. As for his tweets, I encourage him, as a self-proclaimed "real" journalist, to offer the entire story (meaning immediate actions taken) with the same tone and ferocity he offered the inflammatory portion.

There are folks just looking for this site to slip up. The mods can't monitor every post. I am not a mod or an admin. I didn't see it until it showed up on twitter from him, and I went into damage control. There are many accounts here where the admin and BOTs are watching everything. Actually, not just here, but all forums.

With that said, they have less control here cause the site doesn't have credentials, so they have no way to muzzle some of the discontent like they do for other pay sites and forums. That is how we have so much more freedom here, but it does have responsibilities.

I just don't want to see us loose it, or the site owners to have to deal with any **** over it, cause they are really good people.

In addition to this, if Canesport or InsidetheU had the same post up for whatever amount of time Reynolds would not have tweeted anything.

Ok, mom. We heard you the first 5 times.

If some kook really wants Folden's address all they have to do is a 2 minute search. Anyone using sites like this is capable of doing that.
