Is this true? I didn’t see this reported anywhere.

Herndon is a dependable TE. Good hands. He isn’t the fastest guy (even for a TE), but he is a nice security blanket. From what I can tell, we don’t rely on him to block very much. He is usually spilt out wide.

I don’t think we can expect incoming freshman to help out in a goalline situation. Catching balls, yes. But to effectively block as a FR you have to be build like Donaldson. And that is where we need help. Not sure where it is gonna come from.
