Tears Tide Tears

DeBoer’s two previous recruiting classes were ranked 3rd and 2nd in the country. This is a chosen self-sabotaging dilemma by Alabama higher ups to bring about his demise and save money to spend on the new guy’s roster. That’s my theory of the case anyway.

He just got an elite WR so seems like he is still having the success recruiting offensive skill guys and QBs. We’ll see if he can pull Monshun Sales.

His trenches and back 7 recruiting has been pitiful this cycle. The new TE coach got rid of their previously higher rated commit who flipped to Kansas.

I don’t believe he is an ace recruiter but he has had same dline coach this whole time who was a holdover from Saban’s time. Their whole defensive staff has been there since his beginning except the safeties coach who is in his second year. Did they all forget how to recruit too? Did the 2025 season and 2026 recruiting class run their boosters’ and athletic department’s pockets empty?

Alabama made the playoffs and won a game, they split their matchups with UGA and OU, and avenged themselves against the three schools who beat em last year. He’s like 5-0 against Sark and Lanning. Idk who out there would be better & that they’d want, but it appears they no longer want DeBoer.

He made the natty at Washington. If he doesn’t win it all this year, that guy is gone one way or another. It’s not just Saban’s success boosting the fans’ expectations; there’s always been sky-high expectations. Saban was openly pursuing Texas’ job after winning his second national championship in five years at Alabama.

Whether or not that didn’t happen because of annoying Texas boosters or Mack Brown not wanting to retire, who knows. But that wasn’t just a leverage play for a raise. After going back to back and winning 3 in 4 years, idk what changes he received to reduce the stress. But the expectations never really wavered.
That pitiful performance v Indiana in the playoffs in addition to being basically average in the regular season may have had alot to do with it. They made the playoffs and didnt deserve it imo. They are going in the wrong direction on the field.

Their semi-demise happened and Saban saw it coming ( pause) when the under the table payoffs were made irrelevant by NIL….but if you live down here you knew at the first press conference, which went similar to Kelly’s,that this wasn’t going to be a good fit.

Yup, their demise started when Saban was there. No titles his last 4 seasons there. 1 covid title since the 2017 season

I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up yet...

Alabama fans sing "Sweet Home Alabama" during games at Bryant-Denny Stadium. It remains one of the Crimson Tide's most famous traditions, with over 100,000 fans passionately singing along to the lyrics and enthusiastically shouting "Roll Tide Roll!" during the pauses.

A verse from Sweet Home Alabama:

Well, I heard Mr. Young sing about her
Well, I heard ol' Neil put her down

Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A Southern man don't need him around, anyhow

As it turns out...

Neil Young's "Southern Man" (released on his 1970 album After the Gold Rush) is a protest song that serves as a scathing condemnation of racism, slavery, and the enduring legacy of white supremacy in the American South.

Did Bama throw their 3rd string out there that 1st series? The Noles ran through them like they were running against their own defense..

Did the Noles hit the portal and get about 15-20 new players in the last week ? Daniels looks like the second coming of Jameis Winston out there.
