This is the most amazing sht I’ve seen.

So a school that has literally paid off handlers, high school coaches, and families, is literally complaining about money possibly being the reason a player didn’t choose them.

Nobody ever wanted to go there. Nobody ever wanted to place there.
Nobody ever wanted to live there.
The only reason they started going to those towns is because they were getting bought!!
Saban knew it the day he left and told all their boosters and admin what it would take to continuously get the number one class.
Now that the playing field has been somewhat leveled you see what happens.
They will still land a top 5 class. But they aren’t gonna get all the targets at the top of their board like they did in the past.

They are crying because paying players is only to be permitted in the Bama method; under the table, in a duffel bag contributed to by 3-5 boosters all of whom now get to brag to their friends about how important they are to Bama’s success. Those 20-30k bags for linemen and backers were nice, as well as the 100k bags for QB’s RB’s, WR’s and DB’s. But they don’t compare to NIL money.

I keep telling everyone that once UM starts to win big, the NIL money will be endless because every club and gym and business in S Fla will want a connection to UM. This is where UM and USC will ultimately have the NIL advantage over every non-Texas school. There is just more money to be spent in Los Angeles and Miami. But the big city businesses aren’t handing out wads of cash, they want to make an investment which they can then right off as a business expense.
Atlanta is the same way but G-Tech is on their high horse and won’t play the game by the new rules. And UGA will do well but Atlanta isn’t Athens.

Going to be a little different for Bama now that UM has legal NIL money and Emmert won't be around to lick Sabans taint.

Ironic thing is that when Saban retires, they are going to throw everything they have at Dabo, who might be the only coach who loathes NIL more than Saban.

Alabama is complaining that they can’t compete with UMs money game! Hilarious

They can't!

The money was their only draw, previously. But it was under the table money.

Money being equal - who in Hades would go to Tuscaloosa over Miami or USC?

Saban would be wise to go out while he's on top of his game. He'd be an Alabama legend - but the bag game that previously brought top players to Bama - that's ending. They'd have to pay way, WAY over anything UM or USC could provide - just to come to that * * * * hole.

Miami alone is a draw. But with NIL and top coaching - it's a no-brainer that will be firmed up and reinforced over the next few years.

I don’t believe that they can’t compete w the money. I do believe that Tuscaloosa can’t compete with Miami… and with an elite recruiter and staff, there’s no recruit that shouldn’t be in play.
