I think he’s getting better at seeing the field. Nobody is Hester dude.
True that no one is hester. But imo much of that is instinct. Not sure you can really learn it. It’s a side point because thomas can be a really good returner for us. But this is a discussion board amd its the off-season....

Watch KWs PR return against Penn St...It was Hester 21yrs earlier...watch Parrish's against UF in 04....talk about hitting a hole and turning on jets....

KW was my favorite player growing up. KW had a better 1-2 step than Hester. I was told by a former player, who played with KW, Kevin liked to 420 it up prior to games. He wondered how good he really could have been without it. Take it for what it is worth.

That being said, Hester was the GOAT.

Only thing with Thomas is that on KRs especially he was clearly following instructions - always ran to the same spot.

On PRs where he could just react he was much more dangerous.

Look forward to seeing how he responds with a new coaching staff. His broken field instincts are terrific man to man. Want to see if he can feel the seams before they open up, because if he can, he’s really special in terms of speed, change of speed, and fluidity.

Kinda quiet on the Emerson front from this weekend. Wasn’t he at Miss State for an unofficial?
