Three DEs in on 3rd Down?

Our real DTs can’t generate a pass rush. This NASCAR package smells of a gimmick to compensate.

I think we should move away from the three man rush alignment and go with four defensive ends. Quarterbacks are getting big chunks running with the pocket breaking down. Roussou hill Harvey and Garvin should be enough to rush the passer and let the rest play coverage. As good as Finley is take him out on 3rd and long and get a corner on the field. Some man under with two high or some palms coverage getting after them with those four should eliminate the third and long conversions.
