I had a feeling we wouldn’t see JoJo Trader or Jordan Lyle get snaps yesterday. Would have loved to see them build momentum heading into the bye and set the stage for impact reps vs FSU.

Both are talented enough to raise Miami’s ceiling and this isn’t a knock on the guys playing now. They have been excellent, but JoJo and Lyle bring another gear.I still think they should have seen the field in a big rivalry game at home. Even a few snaps in that atmosphere could have given them live reps, confidence, and game speed you just can’t match in practice.

Do we want JoJo and Lyle back in the rotation and reaching their full potential or is Mario going to stick with the current plan, saying they are full go but holding off because he does not want to disrupt what is working? Their talent is certainly strong enough to play and Tony Johnson got reps. Maybe this is just Mario being Mario and keeping his cards close. Either way it was a letdown not to see those two in the game.

Lyle and Jo Jo will be playing against FSU.

So you would have been happy to see that on a wet field re-injure themselves. This is a long season and we have playoff. We need players to healthy. The fixation of this board on hurt players is just weird.

It's self inflicted by the coaching staff. You shouldn't continue to say "guys are good to go" if they aren't good to go. Of course fans are going to have questions

Have to assume coaches & medical staff know best. Sorry for any letdown.

They'll earn playing time in practice. Now that they're presumably healthy, that shouldn't be in issue for them. They'll play against FSU

How about this idea, let’s let them get 100% healthy before we put them on the field. Just a thought.
