I know you guys undoubtedly see this as well, but Jackson Cantwell is just an impressive young man. Listened to his post practice interview earlier and his answers to each question shows a very serious attention to detail. Very intelligent, articulate, confident, yet still remaining humble, ready and willing to be coached and he’s challenging himself every day. Like, if you didn’t know, you would guess he was an upperclassmen with the way he carries himself and I feel like that’s half the battle when you’re a true freshman trying to make a huge impact on a team with national championship aspirations. Guys like Jackson just don’t come along very often. He’s gonna make The U proud. 🙌

Mike McGlinchy 2.0
Man I don’t know if that’s a compliment or a slam. I hear McGlinchy and I think hearing about how highly rated he and Nelson were when we curb stomped them. Not saying you’re wrong, just battling my own pea brain.

I prefer comping him to Anthony Muñoz, Jumbo Elliot, Tony Boselli or Erik Williams. Don’t want the bar set too low for him.

He was a top 10 draft pick & was graded as one of the best run blockers in the league last year.

I'm not going to compare a TF to HOF'ers before they've ever taken a snap in an actual game.

Glad you caught the last part. 😂 Sorry I couldn’t come up with more hall of famers off the top of my head.

I know McGlinchy was really really good/great in college. That Bandy game is playing mental tug of war in my head right now and I hate giving ND any props.

I have too many visions of McGlinchy getting beaten like a drum by UM. Garvin got him on the strip sack
His career didn't end after that game...

Mauigoa has also been beaten & given up sacks, doesn't define his ability & isn't going to stop him from being a 1st round draft pick.
