We dont have the HR hitters at the WR position. But we have more than enough juice for a horizontal based Passing Attack.

Call plays designed for Beck to get the ball out quicker.

Schott and Gilbert need reps, lots. The bye weeks should really help us with the young ones getting lots of snaps.

I’ll add timing with Beck since he didn’t have a spring. I expect the back 7 to look much better than the front 5. Defensives will be much worse that we face and becks timing/time from surgery will improve,

The 3-3-5 is designed to present multiple looks for blitzing and prevent deep shots so it should be more check downs and running the ball…. Also incorporate Lofton. He needs at least 6/7 targets.

I was really impressed with Bama’s offense even though they couldn’t run the ball. Loved their shifts and motions (play clock management was terrible) as it put a lot of pressure on the Georgia defense.

Beck is going to have to scramble more and move up in the pocket better. He rolls out too quickly at times.

Watching the condensed Bama/fsu game and now the bama/Georgia game the Bama qb scrambled a lot more than in the fsu game.

There will be some 3rd and 5s that FSU will give up on a scramble because the UF film showed Beck is pass first.

Pretty sure he was in zone. I don’t remember anyone to his left at all and there was an outside wr hitch.
I could be wrong, but it felt like he floated from outside wr to the inside dig route.

Nothing wrong with the pass game. The guy had 1 bad game. I agree we do need more explosives but nobody was saying the pass game needed fixing until there was struggles vs uf

Interesting screenshot here. McClain comes off his guy who ran the hitch inside - had he threatened deeper or out, McClain responsibilitiy would have kept him there. But notice that Mali could have the corner route open or the rb outlet pass which would have gotten yards.

But even the dig route is solid - but you have give it proper spacing and create conflict for dbs.

Honestly, Carson just needs to execute better. Good decisions and more accurate throws.
 
Can we sign a late enrollee that runs a 10.4 or faster? Who is now the fastest kid on the team?
