Thoughts on 1st year

Vegas line was 6.5. We now have 7 wins. We are better than what Vegas predicted.

Different cycle, different screen name.....same potato logic.

Different screen name? Do you have brain syphilis? Don't be such a *****. I have never posted under a different name. And apparently you don't understand the difference between facts and opinions. The fact is that Vegas put the W/L odds at 6.5 games. We won eight games. We beat the expectations. This is called a fact. An opinion is me pointing out that you don't understand the first thing about college football and are an embarrassment to the fan base, but that might border on fact as well.

Vegas sets those lines based on the point where they feel betting action will balance out on both sides. It isn't some sort of prediction on their part....it's balancing the public's pre-conceived expectation. It's the reason why Vegas is forced to move their lines sometimes.

Again...I know these concepts fly right over the heads of Don Bailey Jr disciples....but keep being a potato and ignoring the 4 game stretch where Richt wet the bed and cost us a shot at the Coastal, in a year where we had the benefit of a really easy schedule.

I trust my eyes....and my eyes tell me we need a dedicated full time OC. It will make Richt a better head coach by allowing him to focus on the team from a macro level. His God awful abomination known as play calling easily cost us 2 to 3 games....which ended up being the difference in our season.

His record against quality opponent, going back to Georgia where he had "his players", "his recruits", and his hand chosen staff tells anyone with a decent head on their shoulders that we would be wise to take a wait and see approach with Richt. This offseason will be telling in regards to what he chooses to do about the OC position.

He isn't hiring a playcaller because that would mean he'd probably have to fire his son to make room on the staff to do it. It also means giving up something that made him want to coach again. Calling plays and working with QBs. He isn't doing it.

Then there is cause for concern.
