That’s right you sick twisted mofos and mofoettes we are digging DEEEEPPP this time of year
All the nose bleeds
All the heart palpitations
All worth it
Pin it to win it baby
So slap that vein like it ate the big piece of chicken and line that snow up like The Plow King of Springfield and bury your face in it faster than Tempest Storms *** before the bouncer sees
Here’s a quote from PJ Fleck one of CiS brief golden boys when he won some game for some **** school and people here got horny like the first time they saw a boob
THIS is why we roll into Glendale and stop another bull**** narrative
Carson Beck: The only QB being discussed by the media this week is the young man at Ole Miss. He’s a good player for sure. Maybe it’s because Beck is already rich and successful and popular, but people seem to forget that a year ago he wasn’t sure he’d ever be able to play football again. He’s had mostly ups this year with a few blips, but in typical Miami fashion, while the other guys get the hype our guys will be the ones that do the talking on the field. Last week we didn’t light up the stat sheet but Beck broke down OSUs elite defense with the type of clean, surgical precision that would make The Ice Truck Killer proud
Mark Fletcher Jr: I don’t have any funny pop culture jokes or one liners or **** references here. I’m not much of a religious man but what I do have faith in is that Fletcher will win a national championship before he leaves Miami. The only word that comes to mind for me is “undeniable”. Every championship team has their moment when the team becomes more than a team. When he went to Malachi Toney on the sideline after the fumble, and then carried the team on his back, I knew that was our turning point
3 and 4: This is hands down the best DE combination in the country and in my opinion the best defensive end duo we have ever seen at Miami. Enjoy every snap. Whether Mesidor is splitting triple teams with ease like Abella Danger, or Bain is channeling his Michael Meyers unstoppable vibes, there is not a single thing you can focus on as an offense other than just hoping and praying every down. Batman and Robin. Tango and Cash. Amber and Ginger Lynn. Steroids and Cocaine. There is no better duo than these two
Keionte Scott: The Human Jump Scare. The Boogeyman. Ironic that our fans can’t remember to put an “i” in his name because the dude willingly puts his life on the line every play for his teammates. Call this dude Expo because he’s the Eraser. Trinidad Chambliss doesn’t turn the ball over and makes good smart athletic decisions. Yeah right buddy. I remember hearing how Julian Sayin doesn’t turn the ball over until he started seeing The Boogeyman on the field. Next thing you know you’re seeing 0 everywhere and I expect Chambliss to start running for his life
Keelan Marion: There’s no doubt Toney and CJ Daniels are our two best receivers. It’s not close. Quietly this kid has emerged as a reliable 3rd down target. He has elite speed but he’s not exactly the type of track start burner deep ball threat. I’m not gonna elaborate but I’ve seen Dawson work some sets with Toney/Fletcher/Lofton that might leave the middle of the field open for Marion to take a 12-15 yard pass to the house
VERDICT:
“Don’t stand on the tracks when the train is coming through”
PFF analysis and stats and all that stuff is nice entertainment but the moment we were given our rightful spot in the playoffs I had a quiet confidence that it would put this team and coaching staff over the hump
They can deny it all they want but there’s a pressure to finally being the team that brings Miami “back”
Whether it was truly rat poison or trying too hard or just a combination of expectations and tension, we took a step back
That’s over now
The confidence we have at the moment at every position but also every single coach is what makes championship teams
I thought Dawson buckled a little bit against A&M trying to prove too much. He bounced back with likely his cleanest most well balanced attack of the entire season against by far the best defense he faced

Good post. We just cant get too overconfident as anything can happen. I think we will win too but I am taking nothing for granted. The last 20+ years has me cherishing every moment of success in this playoff round robin.

I’ve had this feeling again all season. Started back in August. Told my husband after fall camp that I was scared because I had that feeling again and I didn’t want to get my hopes up.
