Thoughts From the Bench Press: Ohio State

I’ve played Miami +10.5 so far.

I’m going to play Elijah lofton over 8.5 receiving yards as soon as my brother gets to NJ later today (can’t play cfb player props in PA).

I’m very much considering playing Miami team total over 15.5. That is ridiculously low and I think it is recency bias after last week.

FanDuel has Miami total yards o/u 286.5 and I want to play that over too. (O/u 76.5 rush yards; o/u 203.5 receiving yards).

I’m trying to come to grips with if these lines are way too low or I’m a total homer. Could be either tbh.

I absolutely do not feel like a homer questioning it thats what is bothering me.

I watched OSU quite a bit this year

Their defense is suffocating. It’s not as dynamic as ours is just philosophy wise. Ours is more high risk

Their offense is very pedestrian. I think people assume because of their WRs that it’s some juggernaut. Day is a mid play caller and has been for a long time.

So really I gotta keep coming back to our offense. Our defense has kept us in games a lot this year while the offense had to get going. OSU was the same way. The defense is kinda like a constrictor when they get further ahead on offense they force mistakes

We just gotta stay clean on penalties like we did A&M and I think we have a great shot to pull off the upset

They only played one team that could punch back and that was Indiana. Texas defense held OSU down pretty well but Arch was in over his head at the time

I know it was early but Ohio State had 203 yards of offense

They gave up 336. Texas wins easy if they had any kind of decent QB play. Mali at QB and they win by 14.

im telling them, its all lining up like the giants of 08. Playing with house money, we supposed to lose. People picking OSU cause of 20 years of them being good, and 20 years of us being bad. They going to find out quick every season is different, and they caught us while we had no ammo lets see how they respond when bullets flying back at them.
 
My mind and body is ready now

F*** it I'm doing Bench press, Deadlifts and Squats all in one day tomorrow so I can be crippled for the next f****** week. I am going to have Doms so bad my sweetheart is going to think that I am permanently crippled ! You got my s*** fired up.

We're doing this tomorrow and awesome write up.

It’s good to be back is ******* right.

I was at the kickoff classic in 99.

I was at the natty in 01.

I watched the natty in 02 with canes fans at a party at my mom’s House. We celebrated, then the flag dropped.

I was at Ohio state in 2010.

I ******* hate Ohio State. I hate them more than Florida and FSU and all the teams I’m supposed to hate more than them. I respect FSU (not really Florida but whatever). They’ve battled with us. I don’t respect Ohio State.

I repeat. I ******* hate Ohio State. I trust our alumni are making this same point to our guys right now.

Let’s go get them.
