It’s time

It’s fuccin fuccin time

It’s been 140 days since Miami defeated Notre Dame and now here we are…one more rep

One. More. *******. Rep.

So dig deep my bros and broettes. This is it. This is what we’ve been waiting for

All the failed PRs. All the Ls. All the talk. All the beatings. All the injuries. All the pain.

One. More. Rep.

All the cocaine and steroids in the world can’t hold a candle to the most powerful drug on the planet:

Miami football on top of the world

So fill up that Super Soaker 3000 with TEST and dive head first into that Snowbank because

It’s mother****in CHAMPIONSHIP bench day!

2025 Miami football

What a ride

Before we look ahead let’s take a little step back and appreciate the journey

From the opening week beating of Notre Dame, to dismantling FSU in their own backyard…life was good. Miami was eyeing #1.

But we all knew none of it mattered if you can’t take care of business in the ACC and November

It was always out there, like a bat**** crazy baby momma waiting to ruin your peace

Our season turned into a Kanye West gif

View attachment 353482

We’ve had a lot of bad losses the last 20+ years but that SMU loss hit harder

For the first time in a long time I felt we actually wasted a team that could make serious noise

2017 was a fraud. 2024 was a fraud. Those teams had no shot at anything real

But 2025 felt different

And then something happened for the first time in decades

We collectively stepped up as a program

View attachment 353489
View attachment 353490

Every team talks about “adversity” to the point it doesn’t mean anything. Apparently no one thinks any team can win ever according to post game interviews

It’s bull**** really

But this team is built different

There’s always been great collections of talent in college football, but TEAMS are what win

What we’ve witnessed since that SMU loss was a collection of talent truly become a TEAM

The moment I knew this was ours was when Malachi Toney fumbled against A&M. It felt like watching Restrepo fumble against Syracuse

The kid didn’t deserve to go out like that same as X. He deserved better. So why does it keep happening?

View attachment 353491

And then we bounced back. Again and again and again. This TEAM is built different

You can’t go into 105,000 screaming fans and win a playoff game

You can’t beat the greatest defense in 20 years

You can’t beat the best offense in the entire country

View attachment 353492

First let’s take a break…a bounce break if you will…

Indiana

Apparently the best team since the 2001 Miami Hurricanes

View attachment 353485

Indiana is a well coached team with very good players on both sides of the ball

They beat a team that got boatraced by FSU and a team that gave up 500 yards to James Madison

And now they’re the 🐐?

View attachment 353486

I had some thoughts and analysis about Indiana, Mendoza, and Cignetti but honestly…**** em

I’m tired of talking about them. I’m tired of hearing about them

Just know…

View attachment 353353

THIS is why the Miami Hurricanes take home the title and restore balance to the college football world

Carson Beck: QB1 finally had his playoff moment. He’s had a bizarre season. It’s almost like he’s an afterthought on one of the two best teams in the sport. Known more for his off the field performances than on. He’s not a great QB but he’s a really good one. When I saw him in tears after the Ole Miss game, it really sunk in. Mendoza won the Heisman and is everyone’s golden boy. Saying he’s from Miami is hilarious. The narrative is built. Mendoza returning to the team that spurned him for the big name superstar and winning it all on their field. Nice story. If this was a Disney movie we would know what’s gonna happen (and Mendoza would be trans). This is Se7en. This is Game of Thrones. This is Red Dead Redemption. The “hero” will not win.

Malachi Toney: It was said Anakin Skywalker was born to restore balance to The Force. Wrong. The Elder Scrolls 6 will cover the real prophecy. As follows: September 17, 2007 a child will be born that will restore balance to the college football world. If his powers fall to the SEC the world will continue its descent into darkness. If the Light side can prevail the child the evil will recede and the world will push into a Utopia. Take your PFF analysis and + analytics and toss them in the trash. It is written. Toney will also finally return a punt for TD in this one

Akheem Mesidor: Just like Unc throwing on a knee sleeve and some busted *** Jordaches, Mesidor doesn’t look like much sitting there watching the young bucks high flying on the court. Until he steps on the court and starts breaking ankles with crossovers and fade away jumpers that you just…can’t…*******…block. You triple team him and he tosses some bull**** no look pass between your legs to Bain crashing the rim and it’s over. He will be missed

Reuben Bain: Old school cartoon kids will feel me here when I say every time I see him bust up an OT I hear “HASSAN CHOP!”. Not sure how a kid is both 21 and 65 at the same time but Bain’s got that grown man strength. The type of guy that goes down to the junkyard and carries home a new fridge for the garage. I feel like trying to block him would be like a combo of Blanka and E Honda when he gets that kung fu **** going. Indianas OL is in for a long night

View attachment 353521

Keionte Scott: The Jump Scare. The Boogeyman. Chad Kroeger wishes his Nickelback had as many big hits as Keionte. This game is going to be about bigtime players making bigtime plays, and no one is bigger than Scott. If Clayface from DC were a defensive back he would be this kid. The way he contorts his body and changes shape to avoid blockers and find lanes would make Neo and the girl from the Exorcist jealous

CJ Daniels: Last week it was Marion. This week I think it’s CJ that makes the X factor play. He’s quietly had a **** of a season despite getting hurt. A hellacious blocker and mass tough catches, it’s time for him to get back to his flying ways. I expect CJ to channel his inner Shawn Kemp and take an Indiana DB to flight school

VERDICT:

“Take em to the deep and see if they can swim”

View attachment 353544

Last week every point Indiana scored on Oregon the more I smiled. “More” I said. “More”. Indiana is a great team but it’s a mirage. They haven’t faced a team this nasty, this physical, this “**** you” all season

Beck. Toney. Fletcher. Bain. Mesidor. Scott. Thomas. Mauigoa. Coop.

This is a truly special group that is 100% undeniable

One more game together

View attachment 353354

BIG PAUSE INCOMING

View attachment 353545

Indiana is gonna a feel every inch. No team punishes you yard to yard like this Miami Hurricane team both on offense and defense

Indiana has been rolling over soft teams for a few weeks while everyone pats them on the back

They haven’t seen anything like this team

And not on our field

View attachment 353533

It’s been a **** of a ride and an honor to share it with a bunch of absolute psychopaths like yourselves

Lol I love these write ups.

I’m with you on what you said about this team being different. The 2017 and 2024 teams were solid 10 win teams, but none looked anything like this 2025 team when you really think about it.

2017 we won nail biter after nail biter against awful competition. It was the 4 team CFP era where 5-6 teams had loaded rosters. We weren’t one of them. We overachieved with a Golden era backup no one expected to ever be QB1.

2024 Cam Ward magic. That’s what got us 10 wins and a game away from the CFP. Any other QB were 6-6. Also plenty of nail biters against weaklings, but we began to see what Mario was trying to build and it was a stepping stone type year.

2025? We start out by beating the Natty runner ups quite handily. Yes people will scream how we only won by 3 points, but we controlled the game and lead by 2 scores the majority of the 2nd half. It never felt like Notre Dame was better in any aspect of the game. As we know, if Mario is up by at least 6-10 points in the 2nd half, he takes the foot off the offensive gas pedal. I knew when we were up 14-0 on OSU, they’d crawl back within a score. Yes they score on their opening 2nd half drive but it took half a quarter to do so. No, we don’t want them to score but if they do and it took them that long while trailing, I consider that “okay. Frustrating at times but that’s what Mario wants to do. So far it’s worked the majority of the season. A 5-0 start where we pretty much handled everyone easily including our three biggest rivals. We blew out everyone else on the schedule except our two losses which looking back, we played absolutely awful against Louisville and could have easily won it. SMU was a BS fluke mostly decided by ****head officiating. Both teams finished 9-4. This isn’t like the time we went up to 4-8 Pittsburgh in 2017 and essentially got our *** kicked. Or when we went up to Duke in 2013 and got boat raced by a team full of 2 star athletes.

Back to 2025. I was treating the Pitt game like it was the Super Bowl. On the edge of my seat celebrating every play. I was a firm believer that if we beat those ******** there’s no way the CFP takes ND over us for the last spot. So many disagreed with me. My best Hurricane friends said there was 0% chance we get in the CFP after we pummeled Pitt. They had a right to be skeptical. There’s clearly a lot of BS bias in the CFP room. But I truly believed they would/could not stiff us like that with a straight face. I doubted myself sometimes too, but was ready to storm CFP headquarters if they did in fact stiff us. I would have bought every member of this board their own personal torch and pitchfork. Luckily I cancelled the order.

I’m not trying to toot my own horn but I was invested in this years team and that Pittsburgh game so much because I knew this group was special. I will admit, I did not think we’d knock off Ohio State. But when we did, that’s when I realized an actual Natty was possible. They were the most talented team in the field and the defending champs. Sure they lost to Indiana but arguably outplayed them and shot themselves in the foot. There were no misfires to the foot against us. We handled them from start to finish, and that’s why I think tomorrow, Indiana is in for a rude awakening if they think they’re going to put up 40+ on us like we’re Oregon, who threw into triple coverage on the first play for a pick 6 and had their QB fumble inside his own 5 because he bumped into his own RB. That’s like 2 butt fumble-esque plays in a half. I don’t see us doing that. And I I don’t see them stopping Fletcher or the most powerful entourage of OL in all of CFB push him for 8 more yards after contact. So far, no one has been able to stop that power.

Indiana- the time for honoring yourself will soon be at an end.

Let’s HASSAN CHOP these Midwestern fools in the first half and then HADOUKEN them in the second.

This is national championship level work, my friend.

Here is a ring for you too, as I am expecting #6 for us tonight!

I honestly hate posting in the immediate aftermath of these because it’s like finger painting in front of the Mons Lisa. What a masterpiece.

One more, boys. One more for immortality. **** the 10000 threads about the 2001 team, or the ‘80s. It’s time to cement a legacy. I am so goddamned ready for this I can’t even describe it. ONE TIME!!!

Imagine thinking facing Alabama and Oregon defense is like facing down Scott/Thomas/Bain/Mesidor and co

We are a 10 seed but we aren’t here because of clutch homeruns or half court threes at the buzzer

We are here because we are beating people’s asses in street fights

They’re going to get pulled into playing our game and they’re going to drown
