Thomas Brown quote today

He doesn’t call the plays and the position he coaches has performed well every year.
And stop with the cam Davis would have come here regardless of the coach(we have seen legacy’s this class show having that type of thinking or confidence is ridiculous) plus he had many big time offers including usc and at one point wanted to go out of state to play football before committing to Miami.

The knee pads are so worn.

My response to “we only want players who want to be at UM” is why the **** didn’t you offer Wright from day one ? Hypocrite

This culture is terrible and it starts in the pop warner and high school level. You have people talking about transferring because they didn't start/play as a freshman.

Every team deals with that. It has nothing to do with the team being on a losing streak. Those guys aren’t playing anyway.

This is NOT on the players, this is on the coaches and the coaching.

Bro between a 5 game losing streak someone is going to make a play. The best teams are player led. When I played if you loafed in practice I would knock you in the mouth. Make a dumb penalty I'm in your face. We have seniors on the oline with penalty killing drives with a redshirt freshman QB

Just as much as the players need to stop with this false bravado schtick so do the coaches and most especially Thomas Brown. I liked him at first but man he has worn on me. Still walks around with his chest puffed up while not producing results.

Disagree completely.

Playing beats sitting in every way. That’s “sitting builds character” crap is just that, crap.

All of the freshman aren't read to play. Did you not see what happened when we subbed against FIU. I have been calling for Mark Pope to play more but after I saw that block against GT he needs to redshirt if possible. There are women that could throw a better block than that. Who taught you that son??? That's something you learn in pop warner.

Maybe try to get the kids that don't want Miami at first, to want Miami and buy into the program. That's recruiting...not come if you want, and if you don't that's fine we didn't want you anyways. Cop out.

@brock Part of our problem is these guys have to weed out a certain culture. For example we lost 5 games straight. At some point where are the players that say enough is enough.

This would be like taking ownership for yourself - something that's glaringly absent, in today's players. It's the attitude you'd see in a tunnel speech, by Ed Reed. We need those types of players again. Those are the guys that will weed out the lazy and entitled clowns.

Some of yall just want to play freshman just to play them. UGA is playing Tyson Campbell just to say they are playing a freshman he has been awful. If u think I'm lying type Tyson Campbell in the twitter search bar.

Pope can’t block, I agree. So why do they have him in blocking situations?

Look at what Tutu Atwell is doing this year on a crappy team. He’s 5’8” 150 lbs. Put Pope at Louisville and they’re still losing but he’s making plays.

One of the biggest mistakes kids make is going places where they have to share time or sit. Competition may make the team better but reps make the athlete better.

Bro if he is going to play u don't think he needs to block at least 30 percent of the time? After seeing that he cant come back on the field until he is strong enough to block better than that.

The leadership on this team is still poor overall, who is THAT guy on offense with Richards out? Yes the play calling is sh*tty but we have guys making terrible mistakes with these fumbles, missing blocks. Penalties and dropped passes

Huh?? That’s what every coach says when they Fail at recruiting, it’s your job to convince these kids to come to Miami. And Miami ain’t miami right now thanks to this unqualified bunch. Homer has regressed, DJ can’t stop fumbling and he has ZERO RB’s committed in this class. Dude talks like Tarzan but performs like Jane

Here comes the TB "he keeps it real bro" brigade. F-ucking idiots. No surprise @brock started this, broke is the leader of the TB fan club.
Good coach imo, I don’t like when people sugar coat sh*t so I’ll always respect that over people who try to put up false pretenses about situations

Jeff Thomas is one of my favorite players on the team but that punt return catch that he muffed was one of the worst I have seen.

Also brown talks a big game for someone who does nothing. Offense stinks. He recruited lingard which was nice. Cam davis i feel like any RB coach we had could have convinced him to come here. He lost crowley and that other RB from maryland. Way overpaid but we know richt aint letting his former RB go so **** continue to overpaid and talk a big game.
He might not be an OC but dude is a dam good RB coach...the drills, the techniques, teaching how to read blocks and knowing when to hit it and when to be lil patient, the attention to details, the drive and push to compete and get better daily. Studying film and understanding what you are seeing from various defensive looks. Brown shouldn't be an OC but those young backs will confirm that Brown puts in the work on Greentree
