This will be the best designed and functioning IPF......

Pretty much the entire BOT (the ones that cared about football, anyway) were done with the guy before the season even started. Everyone was fairly certain the string was being played out, I can't think of a single person that thought he would be here in 2016. The final nail was Cincinnati.

Ask Pete this hypothetical, though. He's was very close to that process

I just asked Pete and he mumbled something about Butch Davis, yelled "Stay tuned!" and then ran away.

Your explanation sounds believable and I'm not really interested in remembering let alone debating the run up to Alfredo's canning so I'll drop it. At the very very least, Dabo sent Golden out in a disgraceful manner. That's up there with Kiffin getting canned on the tarmac. I think we can all celebrate that.

Thank you for the insight, esteemed BOT member. And to think, all us laymen being so concerned about his continued presence after the Duck Commander Bowl. It makes complete sense the the nail in the coffin was Cincinnati, being as he was fired after that game...

LOL. Dabo didn't save shīt. Corch was going to be history anyway. Probably got him out of here sooner, though, and maybe resulted in a couple of extra wins.

Here's why: the fat fūck would have been fired at the end of the season anyway - if he even would have lasted that long. But, and this is a big but, if Gorlden would not have been fired after Clemson game, we definitely lose to Duke, and I can see maybe one or two additional losses for the remainder of the year.

Thank Dabo for eight wins

You have more faith in Blake James and the BoT than most then to be willing to gamble that if Clemson wasn't as egregious a loss and that Alfredo wins 7 games that they wouldn't have at best kept him on through the bowl game and at worst have found some other reason to keep him another year. Both situations obviously throw off the Richt hiring timing.

And if my Aunt had balls.....

I know several of the BoT members and they told me it seemed like it was very close to being a done deal before the Clemson loss. That did accelerate it.

You're right and I had it all wrong. He was fired after the Cincinatti game. I must have been on drugs. Excellent gif, by the way. I'm so embarrassed with this upper hand you've gained with your combination of factual knowledge and humorous clips.

Congratulations.

where is the pic of GOlden and Dabo. Golden couldn't even look the man in the eye after the game.

You weren't paying attention, then. He was done. Would have happened before the bowl game. Did you think we were going to win out after Clemson even if we lost respectably? Fat Al had at least four more losses in him. It was just a matter of when. 58-0 accelerated the time line.

Again, I don't share the certainty that you do that he was done. The ****roach wouldn't have won out but it wouldn't have taken much to win one less game than Larry "Vince Lombardi" Scott and then have an overly conservative Blake James think that a bowl win gets us to 8 wins and that would be respectable enough to keep him while stressing continuity with Kaaya, etc. Again, maybe not a big chance that it'd have gone down like that but not a completely implausible one either- and that's not a risk I'd even be comfortable with in hindsight.

It's moot though. The Dabo narrative is based more in fun than anything else. At the least he gets credit for giving us new hope a couple of months early.

Exactly.
To Dabo!
