Flat out, you don't see other fanbases acting as immature as this one on their message boards when their team is in the dumps. The level of immaturity on this website is getting out of hand and that's on the posters first and foremost, secondly on the mods. There's a way to talk about what's going on without running your mouth like some pre-pubescent kid.
I know, it's an opportunity for supposedly grown men to one up their fellow posters on what they think is open mic night. Whatever, have at it, but don't expect to be taken seriously.
It's no surprise that one of Fraulden's and Shalala's biggest supporters for the longest time would bytch about posters being immature.
Listen up, and get this through your thick skull. Fans spend years buying merch, going to games, donating to the university, attending special events that help raise money for the U, and in return we get the big FACK YOU from them.
We have the right to be angry and complain. Only people exacerbating this whole thing are you and the rest of the "let's keep quiet and stay classy" crowd.
The point to stay quiet passed a long time ago. Keep the pressure up like a pressure cooker. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Fact, Golden was hired and I stated mockingly that we just stole the Temple coach. Fact, while a bunch of supposedly grown men got as giddy as school girls when he took his podium stand introducing himself, I had already said what a joke the hire was. Fact, Shalala what....please, glad she's gone but while some gleefully celebrated her health issue, I wished her well....I'm human.

So you feel like a woman who's been scorned? You spent money buying this, that, and your time has been invested as well. The results aren't up to whatever you want them to be, so now it's on, you're ready to rumble. **** right, you're going to make yourself heard....someone is going to listen. It's personal, they've given you the finger, the stupid losers, **** that Golden, BOT, and everyone in between.
Guess what, everyone on this website has invested something in this program or we wouldn't even be on this website. I've been in attendance for three of our five NC's, countless home games at the OB (a handful as well at Phins place which I've vowed to never go back), many a road game, merchandise, etc. You're not special or unique in any of this.
There's ways to be heard without looking like some classless immature idiot. Nobody in any position of power at any decent to large sized organization would ever take someone seriously when they talk like a good many here. You don't think they've noticed the lack of attendance? You don't think they've noticed everything going on around the program?
The banners agree or disagree, they're noticed and funny even though I don't necessarily agree with them. Send a letter a day, keep it cordial or just send one of Al's woeful stats since he's been here. That'll do more good than saying slurper or whatever the cute little moniker you all want to toss around at your fellow fans and posters.
I'm simply of the opinion that there's a way to talk and be heard without all of the juvenile crap that goes on. We all want the same things, wins. I don't care one bit who gives them to us, but hopefully one day we get there again. If not, such is life, there's more important things to spend my money on or get upset over.
