The fact that he has to come out and defend his coach tells you all you need to know. Golden is in trouble
 
You know what's interesting about clouds....they eventually blow away. This "cloud" they continue to speak of is in no way affecting of our performance on the field. We have consistently been in the top 15 in recruiting during this "cloud." The first mistake Golden made was he chose to concentrate on players from the North East instead of his own back yard; THAT had nothing to do w/ the cloud. The lack of player development has nothing to do w/ the cloud. The lack of execution on the field has nothing to do w/ the cloud. The lack of formation recognition has nothing to do w/ the cloud. The fact our DTs and DEs are taught to engage an OL instead of shooting the gaps has nothing to do w/ a cloud. So the fact that Golden & Company continue to use this as an excuse to justify the putrid product we put on the field is asinine and offensive to us as fans.
