this play, right here.. this was worse than D'onfrio...

Do people really think that a DC with 40 years of coaching experience purposely put a DT in man coverage on a RB?

What's more likely? That Steele did that on purpose, or that the kids fvcked up?
People in here think that... because its CIS.

First thought was he called Fire Zone... second view, its a busted coverage. And even then, the rush up front was well enough designed to have a LB come in free unblocked.

If some of y'all in here think what we are running this season is the entirety of what Steele does... its not even 10%. And I can only laugh at the people saying Steele is not a good DC anymore. The only dude who contained the 2019 LSU juggernaut who ran more advanced **** than 90% of all college teams right now, with an entirely new scheme designed in one week, is not good enough anymore. JFC....

Norvell absolutely spanked steele on Saturday and im a believer in steele but he got absolutely whooped and watching it back u could see the signs early

They ran the same counter play over and over and over and over again. It literally neutralized our DTs because the o line just crashes down on them! They didn’t even set it up they just came out running the ish. They saw film and saw they cannot run right at us and seen other teams have success with the counter and just ran that bih all night

This is CIS where they generally believe that all of the coaches are dummies that teach/do things that aren't even done/taught in Pop Warner, brother. CIS is correct, as always, of course. I feel those that have coached at any level see this stuff differently.

When every single dude regresses, it ain't the kids. Kinchens been a bad *** his whole life, including last year.
First, this play was Ivey's to make.
Second, Kam may be a badass but you can count at least 6 big plays on him either missing an easy tackle or a blown assignment. The missed tackles I can deal with as he will get better as will the volume of him needing to save simple plays when our LBers are better. The blown assignments (5 vs MTSU & UNC) can't happen.

Pathetic effort by Kitchens. He should be benched for that alone. Mario keeps blabbing on and on about effort and accountability but it's all talk no action.
You call out Kam and miss the clear fact this doesn't happen at all if Ivey decides to play his responsibility.

I will call out Steele for still having Ivey play any deep zone! He is ok playing man with safety support (when they actually support).

I know this play was nullified, but on his INT in the end zone, Kam tried to actually bring the ball out while 9 yards deep in the end zone, and got to the 1 yard line

Alright, maybe he knew there was a flag, but why even do that?

It's a dumb play, regardless..

Again, football IQ matters

Maybe because he thought the only way we could score is if he tried to run it back himself?

But in all seriousness watching Kam this year is painful. Not unlike watching TVD on offense.

We’ve somehow managed to take our smartest players and make them look inept. I don’t believe Kam just suddenly stopped knowing how to play football, especially when last year at times, he was the best player on the field for us.

Just a bizarre endless series of groin kicks for us this year. It defies logic.

Also kam has been good this year, I know fans like to pick out a handful of plays and think that represents a player but no thats not how football works he plays 60 snaps a game.

He’s had very bad plays that have been noticed and unnoticed and very good plays that have been noticed and unnoticed but overall he’s been good. He’s a true sophomore in his first year as a official starter, let him and others that have bought in grow
