Looks like hands to the face to on the DL. I’d have to go back and look.Yeah that one was like 7 Mississippis for a long developing play.

I was more focused on the snaps I didn’t even look at his blocking. Idk why people are turning a blind eye to his 5 plus ****** snaps. He was getting no push even on double teams and high snaps ain’t solid.
Gotcha yeah you had me questioning my sanity a bit. Also that 2021 MSU team Stroud did it that was when Tucker took like 50 transfers and beat us upAh good catch. I counted Daniels game Nov 18 2023. He went 25/30 6TD 413 yards. Not 90% completion. I ran a search earlier today for recent QBs with 30+ attempts with more TD than incompletions.
There is a post of mine from a few weeks ago that said this is by far their toughest coaching challenge to date up front. I also went on to say I expect this unit to be about top 30 come end of year and that would be impressive given what is on paper for this line.HUGE if b/c there are glaring holes in pass pro and in the run game. Mario and Mirabal have their hands full.
Stop it. If you keyed Bain and Messidor they nearly never lost reps at this level. They **** sure are not losing many reps to the sisters of the poor Stanford o line we played last night. Damon Wilson couldn’t win reps last night consistently in the pass rush. It was tough to watch him go power rush after power rush square into their tackles with no counter off it or the ability disengage.Wilson got a few pressures and made a big play in the red zone. You not going to get a bunch of sacks every game. As elite as Bain was last year he only had 4.5 sacks in the regular season. Had 5 in the playoffs. But he created a lot of pressure
Wilson had 9 sacks in the sec playing only 200+ snaps lol he knows what he is doing and will be fineStop it. If you keyed Bain and Messidor they nearly never lost reps at this level. Jason Taylor has his hands full with these d ends not named Lightfoot and Blount.
He was solid. Who on the o-line was getting push? The run blocking as a whole was bad but overall he was solid. And if you want to use pff they had him graded as the best o-lineman and 3rd highest rated player for miamiHe was getting no push even on double teams and high snaps ain’t solid. He was solid what game was you watching
If they are going to sell out and run blitz then we'll rpo more. Slants and screens were there anytime we wanted. Pass pro was overall very good. We'll know where we stand against Clemson.HUGE if b/c there are glaring holes in pass pro and in the run game. Mario and Mirabal have their hands full.
I agree. But we’ve two months until then. I’m putting all my chips on Mario having the line improved by then.Stanford. Those numbers come way down vs. ND.Game 1. Whole new OL. It’s gonna take some time. Plus I’d warrant boxes are gonna super light moving forward. Considering our best player went for 234/3 tonight.
People talking about pass pro issues are talking about the first few plays of the game imo. We had no issues once we got into the grooveIf they are going to sell out and run blitz then we'll rpo more. Slants and screens were there anytime we wanted. Pass pro was overall very good. I think that’s an experience thing more than a talent thing. Like some touch on the throw to Spafford would’ve been a TD. The INT was a forced throw. Those are correctable mistakes imo.Luke Nickel throwing deep is not a pretty site.Vendrevius Jacobs had 350ish yards and 3 TDs against Clemson/Mizzou/A&M last year
Tonight he was catching pop ups from Luke Nickel in garbage time against Stanford
Our WR group is wild
Stanford brought some late pressures early too. Which for a young, new group is typically going to cause problems. Once they rushed four they held up a lot better.People talking about pass pro issues are talking about the first few plays of the game imo. Yeah we’ve got some concerns on offense with the OL but nothing we didn’t already knowStanford brought some late pressures early too. Which for a young, new group is typically going to cause problems. Once they rushed four they held up a lot better.
Idk, but if there’s a group of coaches I’m not betting against having a good OL, maybe not elite like last year, but good. It’s Mario & Mirabal.
DAM we gonna miss Lowe.. COTDAMStop it. If you keyed Bain and Messidor they nearly never lost reps at this level. Hes looking like a Baby Mali, all the training they do hes learning, we got Baby Jesus and Baby MaliUpshaw is a beast too . That kid gets over looked but he’s clutch too
Pass blocking looked solid last night. Run blocking will improve and the offense will flourish when that happens. If the offensive line finds its groove we will have the No. 1 offense in the country
