This Offense is Legit

I think it was glaringly obvious it needs to be Cantwell at one of the guard spots. Then you have three guys fighting for one spot at the other guard. All we need is one to emerge and we'll be fine.
We need as better center. Rodriguez was booty juice!

Rodriguez was fine out there and healthy. But I agree on the guard spots, I was a little surprised at the lack of push they were getting. I think we’ll see a little more Cantwell and Congdon to see if we can correct that issue at those two spot spots.
But you want to tab guys as Orlando pace. As I stated before the season you don’t win championships with true freshman o-linemen. Practice and games aren’t the same

McCoy looked good too except for the one that got batted upon release.
Agree, I think both our tackles in McCoy and pancake looked excellent out there. You can tell McCoy took conditioning seriously and got lighter and more athletic in the off-season.

We ran so well in the playoffs, people are forgetting our early season woes last year running the ball. Same in the pash rush at time (albeit they were being held).

We will get better.

I’ll say this, the guards did not get much push in this game and because of that, I think you’re gonna see a little more Kentwell and cogdon at the guard spots to see if they can start getting more push in the run game. And I stand by what I said, from traits, attribute and power attribute, Cantwell is in that class with pace. I don’t think people understand how unbelievable his power is.

we know the kid has freakish power but it’s more to playing the position than that. I think he was ok when they put him at rg and buchanan at lg

I said before the season that Dawson’s ability to adapt to his personnel would be very telling in 2026. This is more 2024 offense than 2025, yet people continued to say we need to pound the rock, be balanced, and we should trust the OL.

Throw the ball 40 times a game and I don’t think anyone can stop this aerial assault. We have arguably the #1 QB in the country and #1 WR in the country + a better version of Jacolby George in Barkate, solid young WRs in Moore and Upshaw, and a steady flow of capable RBs. Just missing the home run piece.

Make teams respect the passing attack and it’ll open up lighter boxes for the OL to at least churn out 4-5 yard runs.
Toney, Moore, and the guy from South Carolina and any of the other WRs are home run threats what game did you watch?

It was game one dude, I think you’re over blowing that a little bit and other than that he played just fine out there calling out the coverages.
I counted 5 ****** snaps at least. One Mensah bailed him out and was able to get it to Toney for a td. I don’t think I’m making a big deal out of it, others saw it too.

Smooth, easy night game W on the road on the wrong coast while walking away w/ plenty to improve on.

Who’s high here? Me? You? The guy that made the graphic?
Ah good catch. I counted Daniels game Nov 18 2023. He went 25/30 6TD 413 yards. Not 90% completion. I ran a search earlier today for recent QBs with 30+ attempts with more TD than incompletions.

So it hasn't happened against power conference opponent since Stroud did it in 2021.
