This Offense is Legit

Has me super nervous. Rodriguez was already limping out there by beginning of the fourth. Guards got ZERO push. Like zero lol
Rodriguez is made of glass too and he can’t snap. Mario ****ed up and didn’t go to the portal again for a center. I’ve been harping on this for months.

Cantwell was up and down most of the game. He had some bad beats, he didn't get a lot of push on some plays but other plays he did ok. He has the talent, just needs the reps. I was more disappointed with Buchanon than I was with SJA.
You were more disappointed with Buchanan than SJ? I have to rewatch for Buchanan, but SJ had a few very rough plays, at least. Couple total whiffs. Actually looked better in pass pro than I expected, ironically enough.

Sure didn’t. But we knew Mensah was better than Beck with half a UCL. It was one game, I’m not saying Mensah will have a better year than Cam. But I am saying it’s very, VERY much on the table.
Both Cam and Mensah looked very comfortable in the pocket in their first game here. The only mistake Cam made was the pick in the first quarter. Mensah was flawless.

Does Dawson get ANY love or Mensah calling his own plays?

Hmmm...
I said before the season that Dawson’s ability to adapt to his personnel would be very telling in 2026. This is more 2024 offense than 2025, yet people continued to say we need to pound the rock, be balanced, and we should trust the OL.

Throw the ball 40 times a game and I don’t think anyone can stop this aerial assault. We have arguably the #1 QB in the country and #1 WR in the country + a better version of Jacolby George in Barkate, solid young WRs in Moore and Upshaw, and a steady flow of capable RBs. Just missing the home run piece.

Make teams respect the passing attack and it’ll open up lighter boxes for the OL to at least churn out 4-5 yard runs.

Please don’t ever put George and Barkate in the same sentence
