I’ve said this for months that they should have went portal again. They have all panned out so why let a 6th year guy who hasn’t been healthy his entire career and hasn’t shown anything get the nod at center

I don't understand why we didn't bring one in. A lot of these OL concerns could have been easily fixed in the portal. Sign 1 starting C and Guard and this team has like zero weaknesses. Fortunately it's way to early to get worried and we do have a lot of depth that could play as well.

I’m with you. Cam couldn’t throw a deep ball but no one does it better in the 25 yard range. Mensah is kind of the same. Not too sure if Nickel or Coleman can be the guy next year we’ve set the bar pretty high the last few years

Mario likes them, so we will see. For some reason Mario choose to ignore the portal and roll with these guys, hopefully it was the right call. I just hope it doesn't bite us in the *** down the road.
 
The good, we still won by 39 with a lot to clean up

The bad, 65 is unplayable, 76 is mid, and the freshman OL/Buchanan have growing pains ahead. Unfortunately I think Cici was farther along in his development than Cantwell is at this stage.

Ditto. One of my initial thoughts about SJ was he is going to be a good center for us after this year.
 
Miami has 2 big **** freshmen and 2 undersized Sophomores guards going against grown men in the trenches. Upside is there for all of them, but I still think they all need some more time to develop. Also what is our C depth? SJ and Buchanan should have been getting C reps since they stepped foot on Greentree. I think it’s a complete waste of time for SJ to play guard, he should be strictly training to be the C of the future.

Still time for the guard positions to improve, and I think they will. But to really compete at the playoff level, I think they need some seniority there.

Wish they had a freshmen that could start at RT and move McCoy inside.
 
Anywhere anytime means you can blow someone out with an eh game. Well we won by 39 with a C game against an Acc opponent.

This team has the highest ceiling in the country. Only the passing game had an “A” game and we blew them out.

Some of the starters today will have limited reps by the end of the season.

Yep, which is why it’s a complete waste of time for him to be getting so many reps at guard. He should be training strictly to be the C of the future.
