This is the problem and MR too

My problem w recruiting started w this new regime, I want to say 1 1/2 yrs ago. There were many signs that I think we ignorantly ignored or blamed on other parties that are rearing its ugly head in the 2019 cycle.

Can’t think of the young man’s name right now, so ya’ll help me out. But it was a dlineman we were after and then after he showed interest in another school, we stopped communicating with him. As signing day was approaching, somewhere around December, the kid reached out to Kul trying to see what was up and Kul’s response was, “oh, I thought u didn’t have interest in us anymore.”

At that time, we solely blamed Kul and his lazy approach to recruiting. However, let’s fast forward to this cycle since Kul is no longer here.

The decision to pass over Tai and go squarely after a kid who wasn’t that great to begin with, and basically put us on blast during an interview was an ultimate fail. However, to double down on that fail, they come out and say we’ll probably not take a QB this cycle.

I’m going to list off some names:
Rian Davis
Trey Sanders
Noah Cain
George Karlaftis
Kaiir Elam

U know what they all have in common? The staff stopped communicating with them! Why? B/c Richt’s staff outside of Dugans and Hartley have shown itself not fighting for the elite of the elite.

****, let’s be honest; we slept walked during Tyson’s recruitment last year, and turned on the jets for Surtain II at the last minute.

I left an article in another thread about what went wrong for Richt at UGA and part of it was his latter evals towards the end of his career there.

Richt is ghost riding out here. He’s more concerned w comfortability than doing what it takes to win.

So my question is, what made Miami more attractive in 2016 to take the job than all the years prior? Could it be that Miami was more desperate at this point and he took full advantage of us? Could it be that he saw he could bring his nepotistic approach and get away w it here, something he couldn’t do eksewhere?

Whatever it is, I’ve been less than impress w a “big time” coach. The fact that he stated his offense has been proven to work for 30 yrs is all we need to know. The fact that we continually go after 3 star players in hopes they blossom in to 4 stars is all we need to know.

I think part of what made Miami more attractive in 2016 was the fact that he was fired and his best available option would be a school like Wake Forrest had we not offered him. Obviously the fact that he could get away with nepotism sweetened the deal.

Hes the AGolden of the offensive side of the ball, we are screwed for awhile. I would let him close on NSD and replace him if I was AD.

They will already, the plane will fly. Miami fans aint playing we have seen greatness and we have seen frauds........we know the difference between the two. Best fans in America IMO, great that we care and want to own CFB.

Lol is that really what you tell yourself?

Get a grip on reality and have some perspective. The ppl who post on this board are a small fraction of Canes’ Fan. The ppl who think flying planes makes a difference is an even smaller fraction.

Most fans bases care about their CFB teams. They just don’t suffer from this inferiority complex that many of you on here suffer from. Because losing to UVA makes you feel inferior so you want to stick it the man in charge. You're deliousal if you think flying a banner makes us look like great fans.

Recruiting is better than it has been previously and we have studs lined up. We need to finish strong and keep future classes intacted.

How ppl expect elite results, when were behind in aspect most aspect regarding facilities, ipf, on field results, draft etc. is mind numbing. If you needed a tweet to tell you weren’t on par with the top team recruting wise you haven’t been paying close attention.
