I get the point, tho... we aren’t recruiting well enough to be elite. The problem tho is that we are definitely recruiting welll enough to beat UVA and PITT, and yet we aren’t.

Lack of Talent isn’t an excuse at this point.

VS UVA agree we should of mauled them, that is Golden all the way. I was done after LSU I've seen enough

Your right about UVA...............but tbh no one on our schedule based on location should have better talent then us thats just the truth. Thats when I know something is definitely wrong
 
We’re back to recruiting rejects from FSU and UF. At some point (I think it’s already becoming a problem) we’ll be beaten out consistently by FAU, UCF (already), USF, and DEFINITELY FIU. In fact, I think UCF and FIU will win a NC before we do.
The program is a wreck. Our talent is at a mid major level anymore.

This post is just nonsense, we always recruited FSU & UF wanted & unwanted players whether we were trash or winning national championships

It’s the same **** we saw with golden. This fan base isn’t gonna give Richt the same long leash we gave Al... things could get ugly fast.

I tihkn we are a second tier or third recruiting wise...............if your 1st tier yearly u field a team like bama who is already being considered the greatest team of all time depending on what there players do in the nfl time will tell.

If we dont fix this then we have to accept we are who we are and those glory years aint coming back.

They will already, the plane will fly. Miami fans aint playing we have seen greatness and we have seen frauds........we know the difference between the two. Best fans in America IMO, great that we care and want to own CFB.

D, don't take this the wrong way right now. You're right to a certain extent in recruiting. But right now, recruiting's not even the problem. If we had landed guys like Jeudy, etc... we'd still have the same problems that we do now. The defensive studs that we've missed will possibly be felt down the road, but aren't really impacting us right now considering we have the #2 overall defense in the country.

If Richt were to miraculously come to the realization that an innovative OC was needed and make shake ups in the staff, then I think we can then focus on how certain fundamental flaws in recruiting are keeping us from being Ohio State, Bama, etc..

But right now, we can have consecutive #1 classes and the talent and development on the offensive side of the ball would still be squandered.

It seems Richt is just a good recruiter without UGa's bags making him great.

We all thought he would be in the top 10 in recruiting annually. We've only made it once and we aren't going to make it this year either so 1/4 years of being a top 10 recruiting class. The recruiting is slightly better then Golden because Richt isn't trying to load up o a bunch of Juco D-linemen. (The biggest reason our DL was hot sh*t)
 
We have the number 2 defense because of the schedule. Its good and its a very good defense but the schedule has helped. He needs to give up the play calling duties asap but he wont till next season, I think he will hire someone to call the plays. I mean he has no choice, I just wish they fire him and start over now instead of witing for the inevitable. And its all good man if u disagree Im cool with that I dont judge people that have different opinions. I respect that and its good talk man.

If u follow a great class withj a mediocre one u are in trouble, he wont succeed here. We have all seen this movie before we know what happens next.

This is yes and no. Yes because our schedule does suck and no because we held LSU to their worse statically game offensively. Georgia gave up 275 yards rushing alone and we gave up 295 yards of total offense to LSU. We were also better then UF defensively in every stat category and they played LSU at home.
