Recruiting is still not up to where we can dominate IMO...................will we ever be a top dog in CFB again? possibly not if this doesnt get fixed.
 
This is why we cant win at a high level, till this gets fixed along with the BS offense we will stay where we have been since butch's guys left the program.
 
Exactly. So if recruiting was suppose to be Richt's strong suit, and in theory that was going to offset his ****** play calling, then the whole thing is an epic fail.

We have a class with a ton of 3 stars for next year. Whoop de ******* Doo. Almost any coach can produce a class like that here when we're not on probation. If Richt INSISTS on calling plays that's why I said we have no choice but to call for his head.

Yea hes done, our class is weak sauce right now and we getting raided by bama uga and uf since hes been here

For a while Richt seemed on the right recruiting path with a consistent build, but he's undermined it with stubborn obliviousness to bad coaching just like Golden did. I think Golden actually had the desire and energy to recruit well but he wasn't experienced at it and the product on the field, especially defense, turned off recruits and the thing finally collapsed. Offense is now ******** us in the same way. I have no doubt that Richt came here wanting to succeed and prove those at UGA wrong, but he doesn't seem to get how bad his offensive plan is and how urgent the situation is right now.

Miss the way hios team played man, had the best talent best everything man. Sucks watching those old video............when I watched Cokers team played to me that was Butch I dont even count Coker until Butchs guys left.

If those non blue chip recruiters left the top 15, who replaced them? Probably other non blue chip recruiters. Just saying the ratio of elite to non elite recruiting teams in the top 15 is probably the same today as preseason.

I get the point, tho... we aren’t recruiting well enough to be elite. The problem tho is that we are definitely recruiting welll enough to beat UVA and PITT, and yet we aren’t.

Lack of Talent isn’t an excuse at this point.

Dont watch the playoff dont give these blue bloods ratings thats what drives them, Im not watching any **** thing but the Canes. Even though they took the fight out of me, they may get to the ACC title game but they will get sauced vs Clemson.
 
Saturday had nothing do with recruiting, we had better players, we corched outself out of a W

There's only 3 teams on our schedule that will have better talent LSU, FSU & potentially Clemson, two of those games are 50/50 games

I can't believe he didn't take a full measure of WHY Georgia fired him.

SAME reasons he needs to go - now.

Georgia provided EVERYTHING, including a ****load of money - that any coach needs to contend for a National Championship every year - and Richt wasn't up to it.

Guys - he had it all - and pooched it.

What, exactly - do you think he's going to do here at UM, without all the money and numbers?

Look at what Butch did - a program under lock down, no bowls, gave up seven scholarships - and then the NCAA gave him 24 more scholarship losses IN TWO YEARS!

Talk about doing LOTS - with NOTHING - that's Butch Davis.

And anyone that doesn't understand what he really did - can pucker up and French-kiss my pucker.
