People on X who don't know what they're talking about. Bowl assignments are changed based on seeding. The committee decides which bowls host which games. There is a ZERO percent chance the committee would have allowed Miami to play a "home" game other than if they made the NC game.

After the committee selects the field, they assign the bowl games to avoid favorable location assignments.

The national championship game is in our stadium and we’re playing in it. That’s all I care about.
