This is hilarious

I for one just can’t understand this line of thinking for the people who want to move it to 16 teams. Then you will have the #17 complaining about being left out like we are complaining this year. There will always be teams that feel slighted.

At some point, someone needs to think about these kids and what happens to their bodies playing this brutal game as teenagers. I hope it doesn’t take somebody literally dying on the field before there is a wake up call to all of the greed.
Correct. And I’m not saying it’s right or wrong.

Just saying all the powers wanted 16 teams for a bit now and this will get them there IMO. No point in waiting now…just do it since we know it’ll eventually happen.

Also, not sure what playoff selection has to do with potential fatalities on the field lol.

More stupidity, which is on brand for the NCAA.

These shills on ESPIN are predicting scenarios with TWO G5 teams in the fold.

They truly need to blow this whole thing up, because it is becoming increasingly harder to support this racket.
You mean racketeering right? Or is racket short for racketeering in this context?

You guys are getting in your feelings about Alabama getting in over us. They had their chance and ****ed down their leg. If the game had been a 38-35 thriller, last possession wins type of scenario I think we would be solidly out. But that’s not what happened. They got their asses whipped from start to finish.

You’re taking the bait with what the designated mouthpiece of the committee is spouting off. She’s reporting what she is being fed, there is drama to be created to drive viewership. Don’t believe any of it!

My prediction for what we see:

1. Indiana
2. Georgia
3. Texas Tech
4. Ohio State
5. Oregon
6. Texas A&M
7. Ole Miss
8. Oklahoma
9. Miami
10. Notre Dame
11 seed Tulane
12 seed James Madison

11th ranked will be Bama
12 will be BYU

If I’m wrong, I’m wrong and I hope the school and conference go scorched ******* earth on the establishment, but the ACC is a bunch of pussies and Rad doesn’t seem interested in rocking the boat. So we’ll just continue to fester as a bridge between the power conferences and the non-power conferences. All of that said, I think we should feel pretty confident that we’re in. Amen.

I think this is the last year they allow this as too much money and power is involved especially if the ACC gets left out completely.

You a lot of really good/solid teams at home with big money markets in power conferences while ppl watch Tulane and JMU. Yeah they aren’t going to let that happen again.
Like they couldn’t see this happening years ago with how many slots go to the P2 each year? Was just a matter of time.

They can’t keep changing the rules, moving the trucks around & making it up as they go. That’s when it looks rigged. SEC really shilling to get Alabama in since they didn’t make it last year. DeBoer was already beating his gums in the post game about how the loss shouldn’t affect them, they had injuries, blah blah (who doesn’t?)
Didn't FSwho have injuries too? Thats why they git jumped. Bama really hasn't looked good all yr.

This is the biggest disaster scenario ever for the committee, espn, ACC and college football.

It’s about to blow the whole things up. You are either not going to punish teams for conference losses, punish for conference losses, keep out a P4 conference, let in two group of 5 teams, or show its all 100% rigged.

There is no way this doesn’t get really messy. It’s going to lead to major changes in college football. We could conference championships dissolved, 16 team playoff, new conference alignment or just two power conferences.

This season is about to bring a wrecking ball to college football as we know it.

Who wants to watch Tulane and JMU get throttled? Auto bids are likely going away and it will just be top ranked teams at the end of the year.

And now the chaos starts. ND opting out of the bowl is just the start. College football is changed forever from this day forward.

Miami once again part of college football history. It will be part of a future 30 for 30 when Mario wins a championship
