This is basically a brand new team in 2014

The only ones worth a **** were Hurns, Linder, Seantrel, Porter. The rest of them just weren't good enough to be the leaders on a team that was going to finish any better than 9-4.

The coaching is abysmal. Worst we've ever seen. **** you, coaches.

However, the talent is back to where it should be for the most part. Don't **** this up, coaches. You stupid idiots.
These posts are the problem with this site, you want to criticize the staff go for it but say what they are doing wrong or how they can improve, just calling them stupid and saying **** you serves no purpose and makes the forums miserable to read

O'Donnell was the ******* man. Dude could punt like no one else. Going to miss him if we continue the 3 and out game plan.

Only ones I'll miss is Hurns, Hagens, Linder, Odonnell, maybe Seantrel.

And I really think Figs could have been a good one. Showed flashes, but it all ended before it even started.

"This is basically a brand new team in 2014"

Sounds like an excuse in the making. A "Rebuilding Year", LOL! :)

I will not miss Henderson, erratic at best.

Linder, Porter, Hagens, O'Donnell and Hurns, pretty solid players, and I have a hard time including a punter on any list, but deserved.

Even though I agree that most of our other players weren't up to, or in some cases, far from, the caliber of talent that we all expect from the U, they did play and contribute during some difficult times for the U.

The "difficult times" was the coaching! The "Cloud" didn't cause third in the Coastal finishes, or make Mike London look like Nick Saban when they played us.

The "Cloud" had no effect on our play. Even the self imposed 2012 post season ban, not going to the ACC CG was a phony. We didn't win **** that year. A terrible UNC PWNed us at home and finished ahead of us in the Coastal.

The players on the Oline are the only losses that I'm concerned about. Burns was a very good wr who did everything well but he's not irreplaceable. We are better at every other position so hopefully that yields results because it won't make a good excuse.

We will miss Hurns so much, you will cry. Dorsett running fast but not evading defenders and then dropping passes will MAKE YOU miss Hurns.

Without Hurns last year, Golden is fired with a 6-6 record= at best.

Thanks, Hurns! :(

Enough with the "everybody gets a medal" bull****.

Henderson, Linder, and O'Donnel are the only players that have a possible future in the NFL. The rest are/were not Miami caliber athletes and they're being replaced by kids who SHOULD be more talented in most cases.

Hurns had a 1000 yard season how did he suck

- 3 star out of high school
- Didn't get drafted out of college.
- Has a 1000 yard season at Miami.

What does that tell you?

MAYBE that we've been relying on SUBPAR athletes for too long for production and that's part of the reason we've sucked.

I like Allen Hurns' heart, but he is being replaced by better receivers this year.

What a horrible post. Henderson was a 7th round pick who was in and out the lineup. He couldn't even consistently start. His "athletic" prowess didn't do anything special on the college level, so what is it worth? There's been plenty of good players here who never did **** in the NFL. That doesn't take away from what they did at Miami. You are truly a special kind of jackass for that post. I guess kids like James Lewis weren't Miami caliber, either.

The "everybody gets a medal" bull**** is giving Henderson props for getting drafted while ****ting on a kid who put together one of the best seasons ever for a WR here.

I'll give you henderson, but that means only linder and o'donnell were miami caliber guys. I'm gonna throw Bunche's name in there for consideration as well because having him this year would have helped.

Hurns is what he is man. If he were that great he would have been drafted, that's all there is. He was a good player with a lot of heart, but nobody wanted to put their money where their mouth is and give him a million dollar contract.

Money don't lie.

Looking for reasons to hammer our best players in an effort to excuse the failings of the corches is kuntery in its purest form. Hurns was a warrior and clutch player for this club.

You're talking **** about the player who holds the Miami single season record for receiving yards.
