This Guy's Analysis Nails It

We've been over this already.

If the turnovers, mental mistakes, missed tackles occur consistently over 4 years its a coaching problem. So yes, you can point to the mistakes the players made all you want, in the end, its the same mistakes that the players (whether they were Shannon's players or Golden's players) keep making. So the buck stops with Al Golden and for losing the way we did, he should be fired.

Spot on.. Miami coached well enough to win.. Mistakes by players cost us..
Lmao...your coaching was awful in the 2nd half, the team responded accordingly to the aggressive gameplan in the first half..and responded accordingly to the "play not to lose" gameplan in the 2nd half.

Your blind loyalty to a man over your program is disturbing. I have no dog in this fight except that I wanted miami to beat fsu. I watched two different teams on saturday. I watched a team going after a win...and then a team trying to not lose. Your coaches cost you the game. Not the players. Mistakes happen in every game. Fsu made plenty mistakes but they kept attacking. You can't overcome mistakes when you don't attack..if you go out and stayed aggressive fsu had zero answers for your team. None. You played right into their hands by trying to play against the clock. **** the ******* announcers for the game were calling out the Miami coaching staff for this.

Your coaches lost the game more than fsu won the game.

Fsu coaches sure would love to keep him around. Apparently you already have rival coaches whispering sweet nothings into Goldens ear..."hey good job, we just overcame two 16 point deficits to beat you to send you to 0-4 against us but your team is awesome..it really is don't change a thing..please, we beg you don't ever change you're almost over the hump we swear!!" And then proceed to laugh their asses off while golden walks away with a koolaide smile thinking he just made a friend and earned some respect.

I know canes fans and fsu fans would have loved for uf to keep muschamp around...now apply that same thought process to rival fans, and even coaches, thoughts on golden. He is a ****** coach in over his head at this level...but by all means sign him to another extension. Make fsu fans and coaches happy...make every sec school recruiting south florida happy By keeping him around..

I agree with the part where you said you were not a football savant.

The players arent executing? Whos fault is that? The players right? So we cant hold their bosses accountable for not getting the maximum potential from them?

In the business world, which is what college football is, results matter. The result was a loss. I dont care how many different ways you try to explain it away by blaming the players, the result was a loss. Golden is the head guy. he gets the blame. The buck stops with him.

You can try and look at this result in a vacuum but thats a fancy way of just saying, "Im making excuses for Golden and the more his track record is apparent, the harder it is defend."

He lost another game. His record is the same as Shannons was. Same as Muschamp. They both got fired because they didnt get results. Oh I know FSU is a good team and it sucks our season came down to beating them. But hey maybe if we didnt lose to Georgia Tech, Louisville, and Nebraska things would be different. But they arent and here we are: 6-4.

PS: Will Muschamp did not inherit a championship team. He inherited a bunch of scat backs, no WRs and Jeff Driskel. He had some good freshman defensive lineman and thats it. The fact you said that about UF makes me pretty sure you didnt follow UF at all. Meyer left that program in shambles and if you think otherwise you probably shouldnt be on the air in this state talking about college football. In spite of that, Muschamp over achieved there one year and got them to go 11-2 and into a BCS game in the best conference in America.

Toke, one of the best doin it on this site.

The truth in this post should have smacked many in the face.

Our team that muschamp inhereted was a ******* disaster on offense. Muschamp left the team exactly as he got it...disaster on offense and talent on defense. If beast says we had a lot of talent he is ******* clueless.

Back to golden or ANY coach....You are what your record says you are. End. Of. Story.

By beast logic, the minimum wage workers are more responsible than the CEO.

It's pretty bad when I prefer a Gator fan to some of our own Cane fans. And even worse that a Gator has to lay down the truth on a Cane board when others are too stupid to see it.
