This Deja vu but worse....

We need to go 2-9 this year. Then next year hire an all new staff on both sides of the ball and start van dyke and put jdub on defense. Is that what you guys would like? That’s basically what unc did.

Ya, thats the standard. As long as you don't lose to CMU or BC you are a good coach. LMFAO. Brown was handed a much worse situation than Manny was and he beat us. That is embarrassing. This was UNC, not Wisconsin.

We should have gotten a clue when he started the crap about The New Miami when what we all want is THE OLD MIAMI! Donna wanted and got a new Miami that should be the first clue. I fear Manny is true nole and peaked with the TOC.

Been on here since 2012. But all this Negativity and Whining after losing 2 games by 7 and that we should've won, is ******* Annoying!! You'd think we got Blown out in both games and we didn't compete. Unfortunately, we haven't played a ULMonroe or Georgia St. yet to work out all our kinks, but (neither has UNC) a made FG in both games and it's a different story and we'd be a Top 20 team

In reality, Johnson was sabotaged. He was forced to coach with a staff of Schnellenberger holdovers. Not only were there strong philosophical differences on defense, some of the holdovers I think hated Johnson. No coach should be forced to work with a staff full of disloyal assistants. It's amazing he didn't have a worse year.

Nothing was deliberate...just trying to remember things as best I can. As I mentioned to the other poster, I wasn’t even exactly sure of the year.

Yea the four game strch to start the season was FSU, gtech, Oklahoma, and Vtech. That was the toughest start of the season schedule I’ve ever seen and we went 3-1. That season could have been special had we not lost two games to Clemson and NC that we shouldn’t have. That was Randy’s most talented team.
