From Joe Rose to Curtis all of the are going to be pumping Cristobal.

Dennis Dodd sure has an interesting list of 'candidates' put together.
 
I'm not really that scared if Cristobal is top candidate or becomes the next HC. I'm sure he has learned a lot about running a top notch operation, recruiting strategies, coaching, game day prep and more importantly game time adjustments. Seriously their OL is playing well and that big back is stacking up yard. QB play is their problem and the fact teams have caught up to their level of play.

My top choices remain Schiano, Butch and Hermann
 
Cristobal would NEVER be mentioned if he NEVER was affiliated with Miami. Hey let's hire the coach who was fired from FIU.

BJ said he wants somebody that is not scared of the high expectations that come with position and is familiar with the Championship teams. So that is why the media is automatically assuming its somebody with ties to Miami. Hopefully its the right somebody.
 
I can see Cristobal's agent sent his payment into Joe Rose's show this morning. Effing nauseating.

In the attempt to make a point you sound more like a potato.

You do know that was really different? Being an NFL DC made him highly qualified based on being the DC of the super bowl winner. He coached under Johnson since 1979, not a bad pedigree.

Butch was really qualified as he had success at every stop. I don't see Chud as the same guy at all. He doesn't even like to recruit.

How do these people not see that placing so much emphasis on "South Florida recruiting ties, bro" is a recipe for disaster? Once upon a time, Al Golden was hailed by the media as a great recruiter. His pitch to local ballers fell on deaf ears as his flaws on the sidelines were exposed. Easy to be a great recruiter when you're a position coach on a Nick Saban staff at a storied SEC program with world class facilities and a surreal gameday atmosphere. Making a pitch as the head man at Miami is an entirely different world.

Most importantly, we need a head coach, not a head recruiter. Hiring a position coach from an SEC power who failed miserably in his only prior head-coaching opportunity would be unacceptable. Certain Cristobal defenders have stated that both Urban and Harbaugh made the jump from position coach to head coach earlier in their careers. But they did that at Bowling Green and the University of San Diego, respectively. This. Is. F***ing. Miami. The admin would have be certifiably insane to even bring him in for an interview.

Feldman had Cristobal at #1 on his list with Tom Herman and Justin Fuente tied for 10th. If Cristobal's even on our admin's radar as a fringe possibility, it's cause for being scared s***less about this coaching search.
