This coach didn’t recruit Deshaun Watson, Cam or Fromm, but made Sitowski his #1 priotity

LoL, you cant be serious, the offense that coach richt runs, in order for it to be successful, the running game will be there. We dont need a dominant o-line, just one that blocks together at the same time. The young guys on the roster have more talent than 3 of the starters for sure, and navaughn needs to get his legs stronger, he stays on the ground now that he's bacj at guard.

Im not worried, the main thing now is for the coaching staff to start using the offensive talent to it's strengths, the qb position is what it is right now, not settled, so the time has come for the offensive coaches to commit to some type of identity.

But for real, shouts out to coach rumph for having our db's ballin, the 2 losses this year was definitely not on the defensive side of the ball.

Like I said before Richt had at best a decent OL in Georgia. It will be a lot harder to that at Miami. I highly doubt we ever get a solid line under Richt.

We are in better shape than we were 3 years ago. But at this juncture, we've plateaued and aren't going to get significantly better without a change in offensive philosophy. That's why fans are outraged right now because there's no change in sight for the foreseeable future. Richt's not going to get an OC or even change up his philosophy.

Its year three in the regime and we are unranked.

How is this better than being unranked under Golden?

He hires gifted coordinators? Really? He had Schiano and that's it. Remember he had clappy and 2 other OCs, but you and i can call plays with the 2001 roster. I love the revisionist history here.

Also Butch couldn't get the difference makers to come to UM. The game has changed, a lot, since Butch was last here. It's a huge delusion in our fan base. Butch is now Saban to most of you morons hahaha. Richt aint perfect and yes this past saturday sucked, but come up for air once in a while.
They forget how Butch Davis lied and after saying he wasn't for the Browns and how a week later he left, 1 week before NSD or how we had a coach in waiting, Greg Schiano who left for Rutgers after he was told Butch was staying for awhile.

IPF, better relations in South Florida and recruiting, we have an elite defense (with Golden we didn't have elite units), recruiting is better (can be better), we have a president that has some prioritization of athletics compared to the Shalala era.

While yrs earlier Butch recruited these types......

Mark Richt is a **** dinosaur. We ain’t winning jack shiat with him as HC. 9-4 - 10-3 is our ceiling with this dude.

There is a reason he is rarely a candidate to be poached by other programs or the NFL.

He’s skating by on his god fearing, nice guy, success from the 90’s schtick.

Butch hires gifted coordinators that go on to the NFL or other jobs. And he’ll fire a guy that isn’t getting the job done. That’s the sign of an excellent coach; he’s a TRUE CEO. Plus, he’ll stack the roster with elite talent.

Need further proof of his excellence??? He took the Cleveland Browns to the playoffs. They haven’t been there since

Instead, we have a coach that doesn’t understand his limitations as an OC and most of his assistants don’t go on to bigger and better things.

and one of the best assistants he ever had (from the Saban tree) didn't like his direction and openly challenged him bc he knew it was ****.

RIcht couldn't get a dominant O line for 15 years at UGA in one of the best OL recruiting states. He sure as **** is not going to be able to pull one at Miami.

Same people saying wait until we get a OL likely will wear Nike Cortez under purple blankets after drinking cyanide waiting for the messiah to return.

IPF I agree with. The President has nothing to do Richt. We have an elite defense and **** poor offense to compliment it. Is relations in So Fla better? Yes, but what good is having good relations when we still can’t keep the elites home. It’s like having a bomb homegirl to look at it, but u ain’t never going to hit.

Defense is STILL too high risk for me...
Moments of absolute excellence (primarily DL)....but bad moments of collapse...Gap integrity...etc....

See...what Butch would've done IMMEDIATELY (Brooklyndee will vouch for what I'm saying) would of simplified the Defense....I know for a 100% Fact....If Butch saw that his LBers primary weakness was pass coverage...he would NEVER allow 2,000 blitzes a game....Ain't happening....Simpson could've EASILY co-existed with Butch....EXACT same DTs Destroying backfield in progress mentality....

In his defense Cam was trouble. Yes he won a National Championship at Auburn but he left Florida for stealing or something. Plus it's well known Cam got paid. Watson he missed on. Fromm he recruited here but he wanted to go to UGA. His QBs have done well in college. Stafford, Shockley, Bobo, and I believe Hines Ward played some QB as well. Ward switched positions permanently in the NFL and did quite well. He was so talented he probably could have been an NFL QB but judging from his career I think he made the right call. Stafford is a good NFL QB but he's in Detroit and we know what happens in Detroit. **** Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson retired in their primes because it was Detroit. He's produced the likes of AJ Green, Todd Gurley, Reshad Jones, Alec Ogeltree, Ben Watson, Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, Ben Jones, Jordan Jenkins, John Jenkins, Chris Conley, and Orson Charles. All playing in the NFL today just to name a few. Now that he's in Miami his NFL alumni is going to keep going up and up. His QB evaluations need to improve but let's not fool ourselves. When he got N'Kosi and Jarren the last 2 cycles we were all doing back flips. Let's give it some time and see how those work out. I'll say it until I am blue in the face. The OL needs to improve. Drew Brees, Tom Brady, or Dan Marino couldn't succeed behind the abysmal performances they are putting up. Barry Sanders couldn't find an opening behind this OL. We need an infusion of talent up front and everything else will fall into place. We need to hit the lottery this recruiting cycle with the guys we are going after.
