I don't know if we will be alright the rest of this year, but we lost to Louisville because our fifth-year senior QB, who we are reportedly paying $3m+, threw 4 (or 5) very stupid and bad INTs. We 99% would have won the game had he simply not done that. There were guys he didn't throw it to who were wide open on 3 (or 4) of them. We 100% would have won the game had he, instead of throwing the ball to guys on the other team, threw the ball to guys on his team who were wide open for first downs. We averaged 3 points per drive on our 7 drives that didn't end in an INT drives. We lost by 3 points. Good luck arguing that we would have averaged less than 1 point per drive on the 4 that Beck threw INTs on.
I think many good points (and many not so good) have been made about Mario, Dawson, our run game, Mirabel, our tackling, the current state of Schrodinger's WR, etc. All these points & issues are secondary/tertiary to why we lost to Louisville.
We lost to them because Beck threw 4 (or 5) INTs that he should not have thrown. The end.
I'm on to Stanford!
