How quickly we forget. Golden didn't make changes for five years. Richt, who has been a head coach for fifteen seasons at a major program, was willing to make wholesale changes after just four bad games. That's highly unusual.

Could be. I'm not suggesting Richt=Golden. No way.

But it is what it is. Relying on young guys yet again because that pile of **** couldn't manage a roster to save his life doesn't help.

Fact still remains we lost the most meaningful 4 games of the season. That blows no matter how you put it.
 
The hardest pill to swallow is that 4 game nose dive where it was clear we didn't have the personnel to run what was being run. I said in another post today, we'd be a paper tiger but with 1 or 2 losses we'd have a lot of momentum going into recruiting. Hopefully, a 9 win 1st year with a bowl win will show positively.

Read my long post. We have more talent combined with a decade plus of a loser mentality. The upperclassmen are supposed to be the strength of your team. Do you honestly think that our upper classmen were the strength this year? We all waited for the inevitable Coley false start or ridiculous penalty. We knew that a senior OL would whiff on a block. We expected Kaaya to overthrow open receivers. We all laughed every time Jamal Carter inevitably missed a tackle or failed to make a play. We had more talent with less team leadership. In every sport, you find highly talented teams and players that were busts because they didn't match effort to the talent. The freshmen and sophomores became the leaders later in the season and salvaged what could have been a Golden-esque eight game end of season meltdown. Great that the young talent stepped into the team leadership role but that's not the way it's supposed to be.

Yeah that was the excuses for Kaaya last year too. In walks one of the most successful offensive minds in the game and it's still on the coaching. Not sure why people vehemently defend a QB who is 14-16 against Power 5 programs in his career.

whats your point? Brad Kaaya has been the same loser at qb his entire career. Coach Richt made him a better qb but no one can coach heart Kaaya is the main reason for every loss this season.

Does Kaaya call the plays?

Kaaya deserves some blame for sure, but Richt is the CEO and the OC. He deserves most of the blame.

Kaaya could certainly audible if Richt is calling a play he thinks wouldn't work. Is Richt the one out on the field throwing (or overthrowing) the ball?
 
Kaaya's stats with CoRley last season, and with CoRch Richt this season are very similar. Not sure how made him a better QB.

LOL weve went 5-3 in the ACC multiple times under Golden this season doesnt fell any different to me..This 4-0 ending doesnt feel any different then the 7-0 start under Golden....Fools gold..... We sucked this year...But if you need something to make you feel better going into the off season by all means go ahead dont mean to steal anyones joy...Beat a good bowl team and Ill feel good about the season..he loses the bowl game its more of the same

Are you saying Richt has dementia? Do you think that his national titles as a QB coach and FSU was a mirage? That his 8 top 10 finishes in 14 seasons were overrated? What exactly are you trying to say? When has Kaaya EVER had success? Why the **** you're defending this clown that's 14-16 against power 5 teams and has never beaten FSU is beyond me.

We'd be like Ped State. An average team with a 10-2 record. Instead, we're an average team with an 8-4 record.
