He's a pro athlete. A 14 year old high school freshman is a kid. He isn't even old enough to drive or hold a job yet.


I don't feel sorry for any of these athletes getting paid pro money if they're getting blasted for poor performance. You're in the real world now. Getting big boy money means you're getting big boy criticism when you don't deliver.
 
either he or RR has to sit. If SJ is better at Center, play him there. Alot of this is mental wit him too.
these two can't play together. I remember thinking Markel Bell, Samson, and some others were trash and they ALL improved but these two imo can't play together.
 
What's interesting is that the quote from SJ is taken from Isaiah 54:17. And it reads this, "no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord". Notice "you shall refute every tongue that rises against. you in judgement". Let's say SJ's situation is the context of the passage (it's not though), he would refute those who speak against him.....by his play. Ergo, we have nothing to worry about. Dude sucks.
 
These players are paid professionals, and I support to ending of this fraudulent “amateurism”. So yeah we can openly criticize them, the same as with pro soccer players who are similarly young.

Don’t need to overly bash players, who are trying their damnest, which SJ is.

Can't imagine how these young ppl especially a popular football player deal with the amount of vitriol they receive on social media. I've seen ppl wish death on a player or someone in his family because they lost a parlay or said player played bad, **** is weird af. When i was these kids age social media wasn't a thing like that and you actually had to deal with & get **** done in the real world, so nothing a stranger says online will ever phase me but these grew up thinking social media is real life because they've never known a world without it. Not excusing his play he's been bad and should absolutely be replaced but its easy for us older guys to say "stay off social media" when's its all they know.
