The briscoes concussion issue is 100% true. He had a concussion, and then had to play scout team OL. If I remember what I was told, he got worse playing scout team and that wasthe end of his miami career. He was all about COD after that. Then transferred to one of the Lousiana schools. He could be OL depth here right now.

I am all for the posters bashing the x's and 0's of games its there right. But the personal attacks on coaches,players and there families is out of line. Someone in charge should have stepped up and cleaned it up before it was to late. Pete has no choice but to distance himself from this and has been trying to so for a while. To put an all-encompassing gag order on a team for fear of what they may say pretty much sums it up for me. In journalism, we have heard "**** hath no fury like a woman scorned; except the journalist that was lied to or froze out." If you start alienating the local media, watch out. They are very patient, and when they attack, they go for the throat. This isn't PSU where the coaches have a lot more control; and they still got burned by the media. Badly.

Al, if you can't handle the pressure, and if you feel you have to hunker down and wait the storm out, you might not be the right guy for this program. We ARE the storm, after all.

I may be naive but I don't think the negativity of the forum has anything to do with it. We've never gotten a complaint about it from the school, nor did we ever get a complaint about the WEZ.

The only issues have been related to the disclosure of information. I get it- guys like Belichick and Saban are as paranoid as it gets. But the ironic thing is that Pete doesn't report his conversations with players, and we withhold a ton of information for the good of the program. The Marques Gayot injury is a very recent example.

Maybe act like a professional? You don't go after someone's professional future, because some people are being mean on the internet. Especially when said person has been nothing if not complimentary of you personally. It's absurd behavior that is incredibly petulant and childish.
