You're forgetting football is a business. The amount of misinformation and pure hatred on this site makes it an easy decision for anyone to cut ties with it. Canesinsight provides 0 value for UM at this point it's really just that plain and simple. The ITU staff is equally as down on Golden and Admin as most people here but they at least moderate the boards efficiently. This place is just a pure embarrassing **** show. He went away for a bank robbery beginning of this century, 2 year stint iirc. And this is the kind of person that gets invites to official University of Miami functions.


I don't mind him trying to make amends, everybody gets a second chance at life and he's done better since, but he has no business being associated with the program. He can be a fan at arm's distance, not hobnobbing at Adidas unveilings and getting field-level access. But hey, Miami is considered the banana republic of the country, is it not? This is 100% par for the course.

Bachelor of Science, *** Laude. The only thing he can do is threaten their scholarship. In which case, he can be sued for violating their freedom of speech. I'm pretty sure there is not an asterisk in their scholarship papers that say fat Al can dictate who they can and can't talk to.

Golden doesn't care about this program or UM as a whole. He got turned down for the PSU job and is stuck here until someone hires him away. Unfortunately his poor record here virtually guarantees that no Div. 1 program will hire him, so he goes through the motions and does nothing to really turn this program into a winner. He HATES UM and its alumni and fans. He's basically giving all of us the finger and daring that wimp Flake to fire him. Flake cannot do this because the BOT won't pay this clown to GTFO!
