These numbers clearly indicate nothing is wrong with our run scheme and or our OL

Have been saying it from ND game but many loved that tush push bull****, the success of short yardage with Cam being himself a restraint play for defenses last year has now become a curse because now we our entire philosophy is to play for 3rd and short. Cam was "efficient" where even when we got penalties our team could still thrive but have said it from rooftop and was shouted down because of koolaid consumption but Mario teams dont play clean enough to play that style, you need to play perfect to play 3 yard and cloud of dust. Its a losing strategy,

Mario is playing for time of possession, 9 drive games and we false start every other drive. You feel like you are dominating game with possession and yards but look at score after throwing pick to UF and its 3rd qtr, and score is 13-7 with them having ball. Samething happened SMU and you listen to Lashlee poistgame and he said he was just hoping to get to second half with it being one score game and our philosophy allows teams to stay in games and build confidence. Its another reason I am confused at the love Marty brown gets, dude gets 3 yards avg. People hated Martinez last year for doin more in beginning of season lol. Bizarre

Arians talks about it in first 3 minutes of video below:

The inverse of the 3&2, grind it out, pound it out Mario approach. Could you imagine Bruce under Mario? HA

Analytics don’t mean **** when you lose to less talented team. Look at Indiana do they have as much talent as Miami. Overall i doubt it but they collectively have bought in to winning with what they have. They are the best story of the season.

what’s the difference between this year and last year? Is brockermeyer this big of a downgrade? Martinez? Cams explosive passing ability.

Buddy as someone that had RB near top of portal needs the amount of anger that created should be documented. The Martinez slander was wild.
When I was told by the insiders that Jordan Lyle was keeping us from pursuing elite portal RBs I was shook

He’s Storm Johnson (literally a big run against USF) until proven otherwise

I like Marty Brown but he was all we were allowed to pursue which is wild

1. Cam. Far and away the biggest difference. His ability to create plays off the run, audible, and make magic happen masked our boring style
2. Martinez. While Fletcher is good, Martinez had a little more juice to him. Fletcher was a far superior RB2 than Brown or Lyle have been
3. TE play - Arroyo was an absolute stud. Lofton and Baumman stink
4. Brockermeyer
5. Rivers > Bell

Oh, but it is. Unless ESPNs box scores are lying.
What box score are you looking at? The box score on their app shows the following longest runs vs ND:

Brown - 23
Fletcher -15
Lyle - 5

Fletcher had a 15 yard run at 1:50 left in the first quarter. You don't have a single attempt over 3 yards.

We have 1000 lawyers on here, there are professional G league players who are back playing college basketball. @DMoney might have to mute the mic for a couple days, put the cape/suit back on and challenge ncaa with Martinez to get him back in time for NCST. You got 10 days my boi..

It's not fine, because the whole purpose of this run scheme is to shorten the down and distance on 2nd/3rd downs. 2nd and 7+ is not ideal for a team that lacks explosives.
then you run a screen on second down that goes nowhere. its not 3rd and 6-7 and were in an obvious passing down.

i said cam made us last year and some of this board got their panties in a bunch. how we look now? the offense is the same as it was with gattis. its marios identity. the only one that changed it was Cam when he told mario to **** right off and made his own calls.

@DMoney remember when I said SuccessRate is the far better indicator of what our run philosophers than just “not losing yards”? lol.
1st you need >40% of remaining yards (so normally 4).
2nd you need >50% of remaining yards.
3rd+4th you need a 1st down.

That’s how you determine success rate of running?

Rb isn’t the issue. And I wasn’t a Fletcher fan entering the year, and Luke has been worse than garbage
